Setup Guide

Your ATK F1 Series mouse supports both wired and wireless (2.4GHz and Bluetooth) connections.

1. Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB Type-C cable. The mouse is rechargeable, and a full charge ensures optimal battery life.

2. Connecting Wirelessly (2.4GHz Receiver)

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz wireless receiver (dongle) in the mouse's storage compartment (usually at the bottom).
  2. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the underside.
  4. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
  5. For optimal performance, especially for 8K polling rate, ensure you are using the appropriate 8K receiver if your model supports it and it was included.

  2. On your computer, open Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for new devices and select "ATK F1 Series" (or similar) when it appears.
  4. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

4. Connecting Wired (USB Type-C)

Simply connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB Type-C cable. The mouse will function as a wired mouse and charge simultaneously.

5. Software Installation (ATK HUB)

For advanced customization, including DPI settings, button remapping, and polling rate adjustments, download and install the ATK HUB software from the official ATK website (www.atk.pro). The software is a web-based driver, supporting multiple operating systems.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Functions

  • Left Click: Primary action.
  • Right Click: Secondary action/context menu.
  • Scroll Wheel: Scroll up/down, middle click.
  • Side Buttons: Typically for forward/backward navigation in browsers or customizable in software.
  • DPI Button: Cycle through preset DPI levels (location may vary, often on top or bottom).

2. DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a wide DPI adjustment range. You can cycle through preset DPI levels using the dedicated DPI button. For fine-tuning and custom DPI stages, use the ATK HUB software.

3. Polling Rate

The ATK F1 Series supports a high polling rate of up to 8K Hz in both wired and wireless modes. This ensures extremely low latency and precise tracking. Ensure your system and software are configured to utilize the 8K polling rate for optimal performance.

4. Battery Life and Charging

The mouse is equipped with a rechargeable battery. Battery life varies by model and usage (e.g., 75 hours for F1 PRO/ULTIMATE, 150 hours for F1 PRO MAX at 1000Hz polling rate). When the battery is low, connect the mouse via the USB Type-C cable to charge. The mouse can be used while charging.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the mouse. The ice coating is designed to be anti-fouling and easy to clean.
  • Foot Patches: The 100% Teflon foot patches provide smooth gliding. If they become worn, replacement foot patches may be available from ATK support.
  • Storage: Store the mouse in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. For long-term storage, charge the mouse to about 50% and store it in a cool place.

Troubleshooting

Mouse Not Responding

  • Check Power: Ensure the mouse is turned on and has sufficient battery charge.
  • Check Connection:
    • 2.4GHz Wireless: Ensure the receiver is securely plugged into a USB port and the mouse is in 2.4GHz mode. Try a different USB port.
    • Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer and the mouse is correctly paired. Try re-pairing the device.
    • Wired: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
  • Restart: Try restarting your computer.

Lag or Intermittent Connection

  • Interference: Move the mouse closer to the receiver. Avoid placing the receiver near other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless peripherals) that might cause interference.
  • Battery Level: A low battery can affect wireless performance. Charge the mouse.
  • Drivers: Ensure the latest drivers and ATK HUB software are installed.

DPI or Button Issues

  • Software: Use the ATK HUB software to verify and adjust DPI settings, button assignments, and polling rate.
  • Reset: If issues persist, try resetting the mouse to factory defaults via the ATK HUB software (if available).

Not Achieving 8K Polling Rate

  • Receiver Type: Ensure you are using an 8K polling rate compatible receiver. Some models may come with a standard 1K receiver, requiring an upgrade or specific model purchase for 8K.
  • Software Settings: Verify that the 8K polling rate is enabled in the ATK HUB software.
  • System Compatibility: Ensure your computer's USB port and operating system can support 8K polling rate.
