If your item is truly lost, activate 'Lost Mode' for your ZTAG Air in the 'Find My' app. The vast Apple 'Find My' network, comprising millions of Apple devices worldwide, will anonymously help locate your item. When an Apple device detects your ZTAG Air, you will automatically receive a notification of its location.

3.5 Sharing Items (iOS 17 and above)

With iOS 17 or later, you can share your ZTAG Air's location with up to 5 other individuals. This allows them to see the item's location on a map. Borrowers will not receive tracking notifications as the item moves with them. Ensure your iOS device is updated to iOS 17 to use this feature.

3.6 Privacy Protection

The STONEGO Smart Tag prioritizes your privacy. It does not store your location data or history publicly. All location information is anonymous and encrypted, ensuring your personal details remain secure.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

The ZTAG Air uses a replaceable CR2032 Lithium Coin Battery. The battery typically lasts for 6-8 months, and up to 1 year depending on usage. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification on your paired Apple device. To replace the battery:

  1. Gently open the ZTAG Air casing.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the casing securely.

4.2 Water and Dust Resistance

The ZTAG Air has an IP67 rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 3 feet (1 meter) for up to 30 minutes. While it is designed to handle splashes, rain, and brief submersion, it is not recommended for prolonged underwater use. Ensure the casing is properly sealed after battery replacement to maintain its water resistance.

4.3 Cleaning

To clean your ZTAG Air, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these may damage the device.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Device not found during pairing: Ensure the ZTAG Air has a fresh battery and is within Bluetooth range of your Apple device. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Apple device.
  • No sound when trying to locate: Check the battery level of your ZTAG Air. Ensure your Apple device's volume is up and the ZTAG Air is within Bluetooth range.
  • How to reset the ZTAG Air? The ZTAG Air is designed to be managed through the Apple Find My app. There is typically no manual reset button. If you need to unpair or reset the device, do so directly from the 'Find My' app by removing the item from your account. For persistent issues, contact customer support.
  • Not working with Android devices: The ZTAG Air is specifically designed to work with Apple's 'Find My' network and is not compatible with Android devices.
  • Inaccurate location: The accuracy of location tracking depends on the density of Apple devices in the 'Find My' network in your area. In remote areas, location updates might be less frequent or precise.
