3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards and lift it off.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

3.2 Initial Use
The Toshiba SE-R0295 remote control typically does not require any programming. Once batteries are installed, it should be ready for immediate use with compatible Toshiba DVD/VCR units. Point the remote control directly at the infrared sensor on your Toshiba device.
4. Operating the Remote Control

4.1 Basic Functions

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the remote control, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the remote's surface or internal components.
5.2 Battery Replacement
Replace the batteries when the remote control's range decreases or it stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
