6. Maintenance

The lock is powered by a 3200mAh built-in rechargeable lithium battery. A low battery alarm will be issued when the voltage drops below 6.9V. After the alarm, the lock can be unlocked approximately 200 times. If the number of unlocks exceeds this, the lock will be forbidden to unlock. Be sure to replace or recharge the battery before reaching this limit.
For emergency power, connect a USB power bank to the USB interface on the outdoor panel.
6.2. General Care
Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
7. Troubleshooting
-
Keyboard Locked:
If a wrong password is entered continuously more than 5 times, the keyboard will lock for 90 seconds. During this time, the system will not respond to any operation. To lift the lock, enter the administrator password via the back panel.
-
System Auto-Exit:
If there is no operation for more than 12 seconds, the system will automatically exit the current mode.
-
Power Failure:
If the battery is completely drained, use the mechanical keys or connect a USB power bank to the emergency charging port on the outdoor panel to temporarily power the lock and gain access.
-
WiFi Configuration Issues:
If you encounter problems configuring the WiFi, ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network. Try restarting your router and the lock, then attempt the connection process again. Refer to the Tuya APP's specific instructions for WiFi setup.
8. User Tips
- For optimal performance of the 3D face recognition, ensure the camera lens is clean and unobstructed.
- Regularly check the battery level through the Tuya APP to avoid unexpected lockouts.
- Keep your mechanical keys in a safe, accessible location outside your home for emergency use.
- When setting up WiFi, ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz network, as the lock may not support 5GHz.
- Consider purchasing an extra rechargeable battery for convenience, as some users inquire about this.
