5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the UTRAI JS-9. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the Type-C input port on the device and plug the other end into a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The digital display will indicate the charging status.

• Display: Shows battery level, pressure units (PSI, KPA, BAR), and inflation mode.
• Preset Air Pressure Up Button (+): Increases target air pressure.
• Mode/Unit Switching Button: Short press to cycle through inflation modes (car, motorcycle, bicycle, ball). Long press to switch pressure units (PSI, BAR, KPA).
• Power/Inflate Start Button: Short press to turn on/off. Long press to start/stop inflation.
• Light Button: Short press to cycle through LED light modes (Solid on, SOS, Flash).
• Preset Air Pressure Decrease Button (-): Decreases target air pressure.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter is at least 75% charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

1. Plug in the Smart Clamps: Insert the blue plug of the smart clamps into the EC5 output port on the jump starter.
2. Connect to Car Battery: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Start the Car: Once the clamps are correctly connected, start your car's engine.
4. Remove Clamps: After the car starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the car battery, then disconnect them from the jump starter.

6.2 Using the Tire Inflator

The built-in air compressor can inflate tires for cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and various balls.

1. Connect the Air Tube: Screw the air pump hose onto the inflation port of the device.
2. Select Inflation Mode: Short press the Power button to turn on. Short press the Mode/Unit Switching button to select the desired inflation mode (car, motorcycle, bicycle, or ball).
3. Adjust Air Pressure: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the target air pressure. Long press the Mode/Unit Switching button to switch between PSI, BAR, and KPA units.
4. Connect to Tire/Item: Connect the nozzle of the air pump hose to the valve of the tire or inflatable item.
5. Start Inflation: Long press the Power/Inflate Start button to begin inflation. The device will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.

6.3 Using as a Power Bank

The device can charge your electronic devices via its USB-A output port.

1. Connect Device: Plug your device's USB charging cable into the USB output port of the UTRAI JS-9.
2. Start Charging: The device should automatically begin charging. If not, short press the Power button.

6.4 Using the LED Light

The integrated LED light offers three modes for various situations.

1. Turn On: Short press the Light button to turn on the LED light (Solid on mode).
2. Change Modes: Short press the Light button again to cycle through SOS mode and Flash mode.
3. Turn Off: Continue pressing the Light button until the light turns off, or long press the Light button.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid storing in environments above 45°C (113°F) or below -20°C (-4°F) to preserve battery life and safety.
• Charging: Recharge the device every 3-6 months if not in regular use to maintain battery health.
• Battery: The device uses a lithium battery. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.

8. Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the device is charged. Connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable and allow it to charge for a while.
• Vehicle not starting: Check that the smart clamps are securely connected to the correct battery terminals. Ensure the jump starter has sufficient charge. The device is designed for 12V vehicles; it is not compatible with 24V systems.
• Air pump not inflating: Verify the air tube is securely connected to both the device and the item being inflated. Check that the correct inflation mode and target pressure are set. Long press the Power/Inflate Start button to activate.
• Phone not charging: Ensure the USB cable is properly connected. Short press the Power button on the jump starter to activate the power bank function. The device should charge your phone without switching off.
• Overheating during use: The device has built-in over-heating protection. If it becomes excessively hot, disconnect it and allow it to cool down before further use.

9. User Tips

• Temperature for Storage: While the device is robust, prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (e.g., inside a car on a hot day exceeding 50°C/122°F) can degrade the lithium battery. For optimal longevity and safety, store it in a cooler environment when possible.
