Operating Instructions
Pairing Additional Devices (Dual Pairing)
The BM-LE505 supports dual pairing, allowing you to connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
- In TX Mode: After successfully pairing the first Bluetooth headset/speaker, put the second Bluetooth headset/speaker into pairing mode. Then, press the unused 'A' or 'B' button on the BM-LE505 to initiate pairing with the second device. Both devices will then receive audio from the source.
- In RX Mode: After successfully pairing the first Bluetooth device (e.g., phone), put the second Bluetooth device (e.g., tablet) into pairing mode. Then, press the unused 'A' or 'B' button on the BM-LE505 to initiate pairing with the second device. You can then switch between the two connected Bluetooth devices to play audio.

Switching Audio Codecs (TX Mode)
In TX mode, the BM-LE505 supports various audio codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, Adaptive, aptX HD, and aptX LL (Low Latency). To switch between these codecs:
- Double-click the corresponding 'A' or 'B' key that is currently active to cycle through the available audio CODECs. The indicator light will change to reflect the active codec.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided storage bag for protection when not in use.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.
Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the device is charged. Connect it to a power source using the Type-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to turn it on again.
- Cannot pair with a Bluetooth device:
- Ensure the BM-LE505 is in the correct TX or RX mode.
- Make sure the BM-LE505 is in pairing mode (flashing A/B light).
- Ensure your target Bluetooth device (headphones, speaker, phone) is also in pairing mode.
- Move the devices closer to each other.
- Clear the Bluetooth pairing history on both the BM-LE505 (if possible, by holding down a pairing button for an extended period) and your target device, then try pairing again.
- No sound or poor audio quality:
- Check all cable connections (3.5mm audio cable) are secure.
- Ensure the volume on both the source device and the receiving device is turned up.
- Verify that the correct audio input/output is selected on your source/receiving device.
- If in TX mode, try switching audio codecs by double-clicking the active A/B button.
- Reduce the distance between the BM-LE505 and the connected Bluetooth device, and ensure there are no major obstructions.
- Short transmission range: Ensure there are no significant physical obstructions (walls, large furniture) between the BM-LE505 and the connected Bluetooth device. Other wireless devices operating on the 2.4GHz band might cause interference.
User Tips
- Pre-charge for travel: Fully charge the device before long trips to maximize its 12-20 hour battery life, especially for in-flight entertainment.
- Keep it close: For the most stable connection and best audio quality, try to keep the adapter within 10 meters (33 feet) of your connected Bluetooth device.
- Experiment with codecs: If you experience audio lag in TX mode, try cycling through the available AptX codecs by double-clicking the A/B button to find the best performance for your setup.
