Operating Instructions

Once the ECG recorder is securely attached to the chest strap and positioned correctly on your body, refer to the user manual of your specific ER1-LW or ER1-LB device for instructions on how to power on, operate, and record ECG data. The chest strap serves as a comfortable and stable mounting solution for the recorder.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, gently wipe the strap with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the strap is completely dry before storage.
  • Storage: Store the chest strap in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the strap for any signs of wear, tear, or damage to the connectors. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and replace the strap.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with the chest strap, consider the following:

  • Poor Connection: Ensure the ECG recorder is firmly attached to the strap's connectors.
  • Discomfort: Adjust the strap length to achieve a comfortable yet snug fit. The strap should not be too tight or too loose.
  • Device Malfunction: If the ECG recorder itself is not functioning, refer to its specific user manual for troubleshooting steps. The chest strap is an accessory and does not contain electronic components that would cause device malfunction.
