5. Setup
5.1. Unfolding the Drone
- Carefully remove the drone from its packaging.
- Gently unfold the drone arms until they click into place. Ensure all four arms are fully extended.

5.2. Battery Installation and Charging
- Drone Battery: Insert the provided 3.7V Lipo Battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Charging: Connect the drone battery to the USB Charging Cable and plug it into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The charging time is approximately 90-100 minutes. The indicator light on the cable will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off for fully charged).
- Remote Controller Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller and insert 3 x 1.5 AA batteries (not included), observing correct polarity. Close the compartment.
5.3. Installing Propeller Protection Covers
For added safety and protection, attach the four propeller protection covers to the drone's arms before flying.
5.4. App Download and Connection (for Camera Models)
If your drone has a camera, download the companion app to your smartphone for FPV (First Person View) and advanced controls.

- Scan the QR code in the quick start guide or search for the app name (usually 'DOE QUICKER' or similar, check packaging) on Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).
- Install the app on your smartphone.
- Turn on the drone.
- Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (e.g., '4DRC-V23-XXXX').
- Open the app. You should see the live camera feed from the drone.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Remote Controller Overview

6.2. Pairing the Drone and Controller
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the drone. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
- Turn on the remote controller.
- Push the left joystick (throttle stick) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
6.3. Basic Flight Controls
- One-Key Take-off/Landing: Press the dedicated one-key take-off/landing button (refer to Figure 6.1) to automatically launch or land the drone.
- Ascend/Descend: Use the left joystick (throttle stick) to control altitude. Push up to ascend, pull down to descend.
- Forward/Backward: Use the right joystick (direction stick) to move the drone forward or backward.
- Left/Right Sideward Flight: Push the right joystick left or right to fly the drone sideways.
- Steering (Yaw): Push the left joystick left or right to rotate the drone horizontally.
- Flight Speed Adjustment: Press the speed control button (refer to Figure 6.1) to cycle through 3-level flight speeds (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
6.4. Advanced Flight Features
- Altitude Hold Mode: The drone will automatically maintain its current altitude, making it easier to control. This feature is active by default.
- Headless Mode: Press the Headless Mode button (refer to Figure 6.1). In this mode, the drone's orientation is irrelevant; it will always move relative to the pilot's position. Press again to exit.
- Trajectory Flight: With the app connected, draw a flight path on your smartphone screen. The drone will automatically follow the designated route.
- 360° Tumbling: Press the 360° tumbling button (refer to Figure 6.1) and then push the right joystick in any direction to perform an aerial flip.
- Obstacle Avoidance: The drone features a three-sided intelligent obstacle detection system to automatically avoid obstacles.
- Optical Flow Positioning Hover: The bottom lens is used for visual positioning, allowing the drone to hover stably.
- Gesture Photo/Video (with Camera): Use specific hand gestures in front of the camera to trigger photo or video recording.
- 50x Zoom (with Camera): Utilize the app to digitally zoom in on your footage.
- Gravity Sensor Control (with Camera): Control the drone's flight by tilting your smartphone when using the app.
- Dual Camera Switching (with Camera): Switch between the front and bottom cameras via the app or remote control.
- Real-time FPV: View live video feed from the drone's camera directly on your smartphone screen.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Propeller Care
- Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately using the spare blades provided.
- Ensure propeller protection covers are securely attached before each flight.
- Clean propellers and motors gently to remove dust or debris.
7.2. Battery Care
- Always use the original charging cable.
- Do not overcharge or completely discharge the battery.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If the drone will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storage.
7.3. Cleaning
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens.
- Avoid using water or chemical cleaners, as they may damage electronic components.
8. Troubleshooting
- Drone not responding to controller: Ensure both drone and controller are powered on and successfully paired (lights solid). Check controller batteries.
- Drone drifting during flight: Perform a calibration on a flat surface. Use the fine-tuning buttons on the controller to adjust for minor drifts.
- No FPV feed in app: Ensure your phone is connected to the drone's Wi-Fi network and the app is open. Restart both drone and app if necessary.
- Short flight time: Ensure the drone battery is fully charged. Flight time can be affected by aggressive flying, wind, and payload.
- Obstacle avoidance not working: Ensure the sensors are clean and unobstructed. Avoid flying in very complex environments where sensors might be overwhelmed.
9. User Tips
- Start Slow: If you're a beginner, start with the lowest flight speed setting and practice in a wide-open space.
- Practice Hovering: Master hovering in place before attempting complex maneuvers. The Altitude Hold Mode is very helpful for this.
- Monitor Battery: Always keep an eye on the drone's battery level indicators to avoid unexpected landings or loss of control.
- Learn Headless Mode: Headless mode can simplify control for new pilots by eliminating the need to track the drone's orientation.
- Experiment with Camera: If you have a camera model, try out gesture controls for photos and videos to capture unique shots hands-free.
