4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your BORUiT V20-1 flashlight.
- Locate the USB Type-C charging port on the device.
- Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the flashlight and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank).
- The charging indicator light will show red while charging.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. Disconnect the cable.
4.2 Attaching Accessories
- Lanyard: Attach the lanyard to the designated loop on the flashlight to prevent accidental drops or for easy carrying.
- Keychain: Use the included keychain to attach the flashlight to your keys or other gear.
- Floodlight Covers: The white and orange lampshades can be placed over the main light to diffuse the light, transforming it into a softer camping light.
5. Operating Instructions
The BORUiT V20-1 features two main buttons: the Main Light Switch and the Side Light Switch.
5.1 Main Light Operation
- Turn On/Cycle Modes: Double-click the Main Light Switch to turn on the main light. Subsequent clicks will cycle through the modes: Low Light → Medium Light → High Light.
- Extreme Brightness (Turbo Mode): When the flashlight is off, press and hold the Main Light Switch to activate Extreme Brightness mode. Release the button to turn off.
- Turn Off: Long press the Main Light Switch in any constant main light mode to turn off the main light. The flashlight has a memory function for the last used constant main light mode.
5.2 Side Light Operation
- Turn On/Cycle Modes: Double-click the Side Light Switch to turn on the side light. Subsequent clicks will cycle through the modes: White Light → Warm Light → Green Light → Red Light → Blue Light → Red Light Flashing.
- UV Light Mode: Triple-click the Side Light Switch to activate the 365nm UV light mode.
- Beeping Alarm Mode: When the flashlight is off, press and hold the Side Light Switch to activate the 110dB Beeping Alarm with red and blue flashing lights. Release the button to turn off.
- Turn Off: Long press the Side Light Switch in any constant side light mode to turn off the side light.
