Operating Instructions
1. Connecting to the WiFi Network
- Once powered on, the router will broadcast a WiFi signal.
- Locate the SSID (network name) and password (key) printed on the label of your LDW931 device (refer to Figure 1).
- On your WiFi-enabled device (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.), search for available WiFi networks and select the SSID matching your router.
- Enter the password when prompted to connect.
- The LDW931 supports up to 10 WiFi users simultaneously.
2. Using as a USB Modem
When connected to a computer's USB port, the LDW931 can also function as a USB modem, providing internet access directly to the computer. It supports various operating systems including Win2000/2003/xp/Vista/Win 7/Win 8/Win 10/Linux.
3. Resetting the Device
To reset the router to its factory default settings, locate the small 'RESET' button (refer to Figure 1). Use a pin or a straightened paperclip to press and hold the reset button for approximately 5-10 seconds until the indicator lights change, then release. The device will restart with its original SSID and password.
User Tips
- Check Frequency Bands: Before traveling internationally, verify that the router's supported frequency bands (FDD-LTE: B1/3/7/8/20; UMTS: B1/8) are compatible with the local network provider in your destination. Websites like frequencycheck.com can assist with this.
- Optimal Placement: For the best signal strength and WiFi range (5-10m), place the router in an open area away from obstructions and other electronic devices that might cause interference.
- Power Source Flexibility: Take advantage of the router's ability to be powered by various USB sources. A portable power bank can extend its usage time significantly when away from traditional power outlets.

- Restart the LDW931 router by unplugging and re-plugging it from the USB power source.
Slow Internet Speed
- Reduce the number of devices connected to the WiFi hotspot.
- Move closer to the router to improve signal strength.
