Connect Frame Strips: Pay close attention to the marked ends of each strip (A, B, C, D). Connect them as follows:
- Connect A to A
- Connect B to B
- Connect C to C
- Connect D to D
Ensure the 10-pin connectors on the ends of strips A, B, and D are properly aligned and pushed into their respective sockets. The C end does not have a pin and does not require a connection.

4. Operating Instructions
The GreenTouch Infrared Multi-touch Screen Overlay Kit is designed for intuitive use. Once installed and connected, it functions as a standard multi-touch input device for your computer.
- Touch Input: Use your finger or a touch pen (greater than 5mm in diameter, IR opaque) to interact with the screen.
- Multi-touch: The frame supports up to 20 simultaneous touch points, allowing for complex gestures and collaborative use.
- Plug and Play: No additional drivers are typically required for Windows, Android, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Simply connect the USB cable, and the system should automatically detect and configure the touch functionality.
- Sunlight Resistance: The design ensures sensitive operation even in environments with strong sunlight.
5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your touch frame, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the frame. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the aluminum alloy or the infrared sensors.
- Environmental Conditions: Operate and store the device within the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent damage.
- Physical Protection: While the aluminum alloy shell offers durability, avoid dropping or subjecting the frame to strong impacts.
- Sensor Care: The infrared receiving tubes are designed for long life (60000 hours). Even if individual LEDs fail, it should not affect overall usage. However, keep the sensor areas clear of obstructions.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your touch frame, try the following solutions:
- No Touch Response:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the touch frame and the computer.
- Try connecting the USB cable to a different USB port on your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Verify that your operating system is supported (Windows, Android, Linux, Mac).
- Check for any physical obstructions or dirt on the infrared sensors along the frame.
- Inaccurate Touch:
- Ensure the touch frame is securely mounted and not shifting.
- Check for any strong light sources directly interfering with the frame's sensors.
- Perform a touch calibration if your operating system or application supports it.
- Intermittent Touch:
- Check the USB cable for damage or loose connections.
- Ensure the power supply to the connected display/PC is stable.
