5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Flight Controls (MODE2)

Diagram of the 4DRC V33 remote controller with labels for each function: Accelerate, Throttle, Power switch, Forward fine tuning, Left trim, Backward fine adjustment, Right trim, 360° roll, Direction lever, Pilot lamp, Light control/rotation, One click takeoff and landing, Emergency stop/calibration, Headless/Return.
Figure 5.1: Remote Controller Layout and Functions
  • Throttle (Left Stick Up/Down): Controls altitude (ascend/descend).
  • Direction Lever (Right Stick): Controls forward/backward, left/right flight.
  • Left/Right Trim: Fine-tunes horizontal drift.
  • Forward/Backward Fine Tuning: Fine-tunes vertical drift.
  • One-Click Takeoff/Landing: Initiates automatic takeoff or landing.
  • Emergency Stop/Calibration: Stops motors immediately or calibrates gyroscope.
  • Headless/Return: Activates headless mode or one-button return.
  • 360° Roll: Performs aerial stunts.
  • Light Control/Rotation: Controls LED lights or rotation.

5.2. Flight Modes and Features

  • Altitude Hold Mode: Maintains a stable altitude, making it easier for beginners to control.
  • Headless Mode: Eliminates the need to adjust the drone's orientation before flight. The drone's front will always be the same direction as the remote controller's front.
  • One-Button Return: Automatically brings the drone back to its takeoff point.
  • 360° Roll (Aerial Stunt): Press the 360° roll button and move the right stick in any direction to perform a flip.
  • Trajectory Flight: Draw a flight path on your smartphone screen within the app, and the drone will fly autonomously along that path.
  • Gesture Photography: Use specific hand gestures (e.g., 'V' sign) to trigger photo or video recording.
  • Gravity Induction: Control the drone's flight by tilting your smartphone, utilizing its built-in accelerometer.
  • Multi-Speed Modes: Select from multiple speed settings (Low, Medium, High) to match your skill level and flying environment.

  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (bends, cracks). Replace any damaged propellers with new ones to ensure stable flight.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries. If not used for a long time, charge them to about 50% capacity.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the drone and its components in a safe place, preferably in its original box, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Drone does not respond to controller.Low controller batteries, drone not paired, drone battery low.Replace controller batteries, re-pair drone and controller, charge drone battery.
Unstable flight/drifting.Uncalibrated gyroscope, damaged propellers, strong wind.Perform gyroscope calibration (refer to remote diagram), replace damaged propellers, fly in calm conditions.
No FPV feed on smartphone. Not connected to drone's Wi-Fi, app not open/crashed.Ensure phone is connected to drone's Wi-Fi, restart app and drone.
Short flight time.Battery not fully charged, old/worn battery.Ensure battery is fully charged, consider replacing with a new battery if performance degrades significantly.
