Safety Instructions

  • Ensure the power supply matches the specified input voltage (AC 100-240V).
  • Do not immerse the light fixture or power adapter in water.
  • Always unplug the device before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Operate within the specified working temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself. Contact qualified personnel for service.

Setup Guide

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Choose Location: Select a suitable location on your aquarium for the light. The light is designed for tanks less than 45cm in length.
  3. Attach Fixture: The Spectra SP20 features a clip-on fixture. Securely attach the clamp to the rim of your aquarium. The clamp can accommodate a maximum thickness of 15mm.
  4. Adjust Position: Utilize the flexible rubber metal bracket to adjust the light head's position and angle over your aquarium as desired.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the correct plug type (US Plug or EU Plug) is used for your region.
  6. Verify Operation: Once connected, the light is ready for operation.

Operating Instructions

The Spectra SP20 LED Aquarium Light features an inline remote control for power, dimming, and timing functions.

Power ON/OFF

  • Press the ON/OFF button once to temporarily turn the power on or off.
  • If the timer is active, pressing ON/OFF will restore the output without affecting the timing function.

Dimming Function

Adjust the intensity and color spectrum using Dimming Channel A and B buttons.

  • Press button A or B to adjust the intensity.
  • Each channel can be adjusted in 10% increments.

Timing Function

The timing button is used to control the lighting period and cycle operation. This function overrides manual ON/OFF for scheduled operation.

  • Press once: The red indicator light turns on. The timer is set for 6 hours ON and 18 hours OFF.
  • Press twice: The green indicator light turns on. The timer is set for 8 hours ON and 16 hours OFF.
  • Press three times: The blue indicator light turns on. The timer is set for 10 hours ON and 14 hours OFF.
  • Press four times: All indicator lights turn off, and the timer is permanently deactivated.

Note: The ON/OFF button only temporarily controls power and does not affect the timing function once set. The timing function controls the overall lighting schedule.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the light fixture and LEDs with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and water spots. Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Heat Sink: The light features a built-in aluminum heat sink for efficient cooling. Ensure the vents on the top of the light head are not obstructed to maintain proper airflow and quiet operation.

Troubleshooting
