Maintenance
- Cleaning Keycaps: Remove keycaps and clean them with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Cleaning Case: Wipe the aluminum alloy case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between switches and under keycaps.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Store in a cool, dry place if not used for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Check the connection mode switch (Wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your connection type.
- For wired connection, try a different USB-C cable or port.
- For 2.4G wireless, ensure the receiver is properly inserted and try a different USB port.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired and within range. Try re-pairing the device.
- Check battery level; connect to charge if low.
- Keys not registering:
- Ensure switches are fully seated in their hot-swappable sockets.
- If using VIA, check if the key has been remapped or disabled.
- Try replacing the switch with a known working one to rule out a faulty switch.
- Backlighting issues:
- Check if backlighting is enabled in VIA software.
- Adjust brightness settings.
- Ensure the keyboard firmware is up to date.
- Bluetooth connectivity issues:
- Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are causing interference.
- Forget the device on your host system and re-pair.
- Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
User Tips
- Experiment with Switches: The hot-swappable design allows you to easily try different mechanical switches without soldering. This is a great way to find your preferred typing feel.
- Leverage VIA: Take full advantage of the VIA software to customize your keymap and macros. This can significantly enhance your workflow and gaming experience.
- Gasket Mount Benefits: The gasket mount structure provides a softer, more flexible typing feel and can improve acoustics. Ensure all sound-dampening layers are correctly installed during assembly for optimal performance.
