Setup and Assembly
While specific assembly instructions are provided with your grill, here are general steps and considerations:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check against the parts list (usually found in the included manual) to ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
- Base Assembly: Assemble the grill cart or base structure. This typically involves attaching legs and the bottom shelf.
- Wheel Attachment: Secure the two heavy-duty wheels to the designated side of the grill base for mobility.
- Firebox and Burner Installation: Mount the firebox onto the assembled base. Install the stainless-steel burners and flame tamers according to the diagram.
- Side Shelf Attachment: Attach the two fixed side shelves. Note that the left side shelf includes accessory hooks.
- Control Panel and Ignition: Install the control panel and ensure the push-and-turn ignition system is correctly connected to the burners.
- Lid and Temperature Gauge: Attach the grill lid, ensuring the attached temperature gauge is securely in place.
- Cooking Grates and Warming Rack: Place the cast iron cooking grates and the warming rack into position.
- Grease Tray: Insert the removable grease tray beneath the firebox.
- Propane Tank Connection:
- Ensure the propane tank valve is closed.
- Connect the regulator hose from the grill to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly.
- Perform a leak test: Apply a soapy water solution to all connections. Open the tank valve slowly. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the tank valve immediately and re-tighten connections. Repeat the test. If leaks persist, do not use the grill and contact customer service.

Operating Instructions
Before First Use:
Burn off any manufacturing oils by running the grill on high for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed.
Lighting the Grill:
- Ensure the propane tank is connected and the valve is fully open.
- Open the grill lid.
- Push and turn one control knob to the HIGH position.
- Press the electronic igniter button (if applicable) or use a long-stemmed lighter to ignite the burner.
- Once the first burner is lit, you can light the remaining burners by pushing and turning their respective control knobs to the HIGH position.
- Close the lid and allow the grill to preheat to your desired temperature, monitoring with the attached temperature gauge.
CAUTION: If a burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and then try again. Never attempt to light the grill with the lid closed if the burners did not ignite on the first attempt.

Temperature Control:
Adjust the control knobs to regulate the flame size and heat output. The attached temperature gauge on the lid provides an indication of the internal grill temperature.
Shutting Down the Grill:
- Turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position.
- Close the valve on the propane tank.
Care and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your grill and ensure optimal performance.
After Each Use:
- Cooking Grates: After grilling, turn the burners to high for 10-15 minutes to burn off any food residue. Once cooled, brush the cast iron grates with a stiff wire brush.
- Grease Tray: The removable grease tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential flare-ups.

Periodic Maintenance:
- Burners: Inspect burner ports for blockages (e.g., spider webs, food debris). Clean with a wire brush or pipe cleaner if necessary.
- Exterior: Wipe down exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the grill in a dry, sheltered area. If storing outdoors, use a grill cover to protect it from the elements. Disconnect the propane tank and store it upright in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Troubleshooting Guide
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Burner will not light with igniter | No gas flow; clogged burner port; faulty igniter electrode; low propane tank. | Check propane tank connection and level. Clean burner ports. Check igniter wire connection. Try manual lighting. |
| Uneven heating | Clogged burner ports; uneven flame tamers; low gas pressure. | Clean burner ports. Ensure flame tamers are correctly positioned. Check propane tank and regulator. |
| Yellow or orange flames | Improper air/gas mixture; clogged burner ports. | Clean burner ports. Consult the full manual for air shutter adjustments if applicable (usually not user-adjustable). |
| Flare-ups | Excess grease buildup; high fat content food; too high temperature. | Clean grease tray and cooking grates regularly. Trim excess fat from food. Reduce grill temperature. |
User Tips
- Preheating is Key: Always preheat your grill for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed to ensure even cooking and proper searing.
- Zone Cooking: Utilize the three burners to create different heat zones (high, medium, low) for cooking various foods simultaneously.
- Clean Grates for Best Results: Cleaning your cast iron grates after each use not only prevents flare-ups but also ensures better grill marks and prevents food from sticking.
- Monitor Temperature: Use the built-in temperature gauge to maintain consistent cooking temperatures, especially for larger cuts of meat.
