Installation Safety
- For optimal viewing, use the projector in a dark room or with curtains drawn.
- Handle the projector with care. Dropping or crashing it may damage internal parts, leading to blurred images or abnormal display.
Power Safety
- Use the power cord carefully and avoid excessive bending, which can cause electric shock or fire.
- It is recommended to unplug the power cord after turning off the projector.
High Temperature Attention
- During or immediately after projection, the exhaust port will be very hot. Avoid touching it to prevent scalding.
- Do not look directly into the lens during projection, as it may harm your eyes.
Warm Tips
- Do not disassemble the projector. Disassembly poses a risk of electric shock and will void the warranty.
- Do not place any liquid or heavy objects on the projector.
- To ensure stable heat dissipation, always open the height adjustment bracket at the bottom of the projector before operation.

Bluetooth Remote Control Connection Method
- Open the Bluetooth settings (refer to Section 5.3 for specific operations).
- Long press the “≡ / ◁×” key on the remote to enter pairing mode.
- Search for Bluetooth devices on your projector and select “RGExxx” to complete the connection.
5. Setup & Installation
Projection Distance and Size
The projector supports a projection distance from 1.4 to 7 meters, achieving a screen size of 50 to 300 inches. For the best viewing experience and eye protection, a projection distance of 3-6 meters and a screen size of 100-180 inches in ambient darkness is recommended.

Please allow ±3% to the image sizes in the table. If the distance is less than the minimum data or more than the maximum data, the image may be blurry.
Installation Methods
Contact a professional installer to mount this projector to a ceiling if needed. Follow the instructions below for correct projector positions.

Warning:
- The projector may be damaged if incorrectly mounted on a ceiling or surface.
- Use the projector only in environments where the temperature does not exceed 0°C-35°C. Malfunction may occur otherwise.
- Malfunction may occur if the projector is subjected to dusty, wet, moist, or smoky conditions.
- Poor ventilation can cause overheating, leading to damage and potential safety hazards.
Power On/Off
- Standby: When connected to power, the signal indicator is red.
- Operation On: Press the power key on the projector body or the remote control. The indicator will turn blue, and the projector will enter working state.
- Operation Off: In working state, press the power key on the projector body or the remote control. The indicator will change from blue to red, and the projector will turn off.
6. Operation
Image Focusing
When using the projector for the first time, or if the image is blurry, you need to focus the picture. Use the “F+” and “F-” keys on the remote control to adjust the focal length of the lens. Tap or long-press the focus button until the picture is clear.

Note: Auto-focus function is only available in the auto-focus version. Do not block the camera during auto-focusing.
Projection Settings
From the main interface, select "SETTING" then navigate to "Projection Settings" to adjust various display options.

- Projection Mode: Choose from Front-Desktop, Rear-Desktop, Front-Ceiling, or Rear-Ceiling.
- Manual Keystone: Manually adjust the four corners of the image using the arrow keys until the screen is corrected.
- Automatic Keystone: Enable this function to automatically keep the picture square even if the device is displaced.
- Automatic Focus: (Default On) Keeps the screen square even after device displacement.
- Digital Zoom: Zoom out or enlarge the image from 50% to 100%.


Correction Settings:
- Trapezoidal Correction Reset: Restores the screen to its original proportions.
- AutoKeystone Correction At Power On: Automatically adjusts the screen square after booting.
- Power On Auto Focus: Automatically adjusts the picture to be clear after booting.
Selecting the Source
Press the signal source button on the remote control. A pop-up window will appear. Select the desired input source (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV) and press "OK" to switch.
Connecting to WiFi
From the main interface, select "SETTING" then "WIFI Setting". In the WiFi settings, select your desired network from the list, enter the password, and connect. "Connected" will be displayed next to the successfully connected network.

Connecting Bluetooth
From the main interface, select "SETTING" then "Bluetooth Setting". Turn on Bluetooth, search for devices, and select the desired Bluetooth device to pair.

Downloading Apps
From the main interface, select "APPS". You can download and install applications from the "APP store" within this section.
Reading Files on U Disk
From the main interface, select "SETTING" then "USB". Select your U disk, then browse and play files categorized by type (Video, Image, Audio, Office).

Screen Mirroring
The TD98W Android version supports wireless screen mirroring via Airplay/Miracast/WiFi display for Android and iOS phones.
7. Maintenance
Cleaning
- Unplug the power cable first.
- Clean the shell regularly with a damp cloth; a neutral detergent can be used.
- Use a glasses cloth or lens paper to clean the lens, avoiding scratches.
- Regularly clean the projector's vents and speakers with a banister brush to prevent blocked ventilation.
