The NaviFly F83 is a 6.25-inch motorcycle CarPlay dash cam featuring two waterproof cameras for front and rear video recording. It offers wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, allowing riders to access APP services such as GPS navigation, music playback, Bluetooth calls, and voice assistance directly from their phone. The device's IP67 waterproof casing ensures reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments, including rainy conditions.

4. Setup
4.1 Memory Card Requirements
The stability of video recording is highly dependent on the quality of the memory card. For optimal performance and safe video recording, please use memory cards from reputable brands such as SanDisk, Kingston, Toshiba, and Samsung. The memory card must have a speed certification of at least Class 10 and support up to 256GB capacity.
4.2 Memory Card Installation
To install the TF card:
- First, remove the TF card slot cover.
- Insert the memory card into the device.
- Reinstall the TF card cover.
- Finally, lock the two screws to secure the cover.
Note: Pay attention to the direction of the card when inserting. For a visual guide, refer to the product demonstration video from 0:00 to 0:07.

4.3 Mounting Bracket Installation
Follow these steps to install the mounting bracket:
A. Details of Bracket Accessories
- Clamp Bottom Cover
- Bracket Base Connecting Rod
- Screw 1
- TPU Pads (25.4#, 22#, 28#)
B. Bracket Installation Steps
- Install the appropriate size TPU pads onto the corresponding slots of the bracket bottom cover and bracket connecting rod.
- Install the bracket bottom cover onto the handlebar of your motorcycle.
- Connect the bracket connecting rod and the bracket bottom cover together.
- Use Screw 2 (Allen Key 2) to secure them firmly.
- Finally, secure the entire bracket assembly and the main unit using Screw 2.

4.4 Cable Clicker Installation
Install the cable clicker control on the left handlebar of your motorcycle and secure it with screws.

4.5 Connection Instructions
A. Power Cable Connection
Connect the power cable as follows to the corresponding wiring positions on your motorcycle:
- Red wire: ACC (Accessory power)
- Yellow wire: B+ (Battery positive)
- Black wire: Ground
Note: Ensure to confirm the corresponding ACC/B+/ground interfaces on the motorcycle, connect them one-to-one, and tighten. Always use the original power cable provided.

B. BM Connector Wiring
Connect the components to the main unit via the BM connectors:
- Connect the front and rear cameras to the corresponding BM connector on the main unit and tighten them. (Note: Wires are marked with Front/Rear CH1/2).
- Connect the cable clicker control to the corresponding BM connector on the main unit and tighten it. (Note: Wire is marked with Controller).
- Connect the power cable to the corresponding BM connector on the main unit and tighten it. (Note: Wire is marked with Power).

4.6 Front and Rear Camera Installation
Install the front and rear cameras separately at the front and rear of the motorcycle, ensuring they are securely in place.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Interface Explanation
The main interface of the device provides quick access to various functions:

- Home Button: Click to return to the home page.
- Brightness Key: Click to adjust the screen brightness.
- Audio Output Shortcut Key: One-click to enter the demonstration screen for connecting Bluetooth headphones to the phone.
- Camera Shortcut Button: Click to view the recording interface.
- Switch Button: Click to switch between the front camera screen, rear camera screen, and motorcycle preview.
- Record Button: Click to start recording video, click again to stop recording.
- Photo Button: Click to take a photo with one click.
- Lock Button: Locks the currently recording video to prevent loss.
- Apple CarPlay: Connects to Apple devices.
- Android Auto: Connects to Android devices.
- WiFi Video: Click to enter connection mode, watch and record videos on your phone.
- Audio Output: After CarPlay/Auto phone projection, the phone's Bluetooth can connect to Bluetooth headphones for music playback or answering calls.
- Video Playback: Click to view videos on the video screen.
- Settings: Click to access the settings menu.
5.2 Automatic Brightness Adjustment
The built-in light sensor automatically detects ambient brightness and adjusts the screen for comfort. In automatic brightness mode, manual adjustment is disabled. To toggle automatic brightness, click the 'AUTO' button on the sidebar. You can also manually adjust brightness by dragging the white dots on the slider in the brightness settings.

5.4 Rain Mode (Screen Lock)
To prevent accidental touches from raindrops on rainy days, you can long-press the third button on the cable clicker control for 5 seconds to activate Rain Mode. Once activated, touchscreen functionality will be disabled. To unlock, long-press the third button on the cable clicker control for 5 seconds again.
5.5 Apple CarPlay Connection
To connect your iPhone via Apple CarPlay:
- Click the Apple CarPlay button on the device's interface.
- Select the Apple CarPlay option.
- On your iPhone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Connect to the device's Bluetooth, named MT02-XXX.
- When prompted on your iPhone, select to use CarPlay with 'SmartScreen'.
Once Bluetooth is successfully connected, Apple CarPlay will be active. The device will attempt to automatically connect to the last connected phone when powered on. Note: Apple CarPlay only supports Apple phones.

To disconnect CarPlay, first turn off the Bluetooth button, then turn off the WiFi button in your phone's settings.

5.6 Android Auto Connection
To connect your Android phone via Android Auto:
- Click the Android Auto button on the device's interface.
- Select the Android Auto option.
- On your Android phone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Connect to the device's Bluetooth, named MT02-XXX.
Once Bluetooth is successfully connected, Android Auto will be active. The device will attempt to automatically connect to the last connected phone when powered on. Note: Android Auto only supports Android phones.

To disconnect Android Auto, forget the Bluetooth connection in your phone's settings, and then turn off the WiFi button.
5.7 WiFi Video Connection
To connect for WiFi Video functionality:
- Scan the QR code displayed on the device screen to download the corresponding application.
- Open the application and follow the prompts to connect to the device's WiFi network. The WiFi name will be RTSP-XXXXX and the password will be 12345678 (as shown on the device screen).
After connecting, the device will enter the recording screen, and no operations can be performed directly on the device. You can watch or download recorded videos, adjust machine parameters, etc., directly on your phone via the app. Closing the WiFi connection on your phone will disconnect the device. It takes approximately one minute after disconnecting to operate on the machine again.

5.8 Dash Cam Operation
When a memory card is inserted, the system automatically enters recording mode. The red dot in the camera interface will blink to indicate active recording. Camera images are not displayed on the main page; click the camera shortcut button to view the recording interface.

The following functions are available in the dash cam interface:
- ● Click to start recording, click again to stop recording.
- 🔒 Click to lock the current video with one touch.
- 📸 Click to take a snapshot with one touch.
- 🏠 Click to return to the main interface.
- 📱 Click to quickly return to the mobile connectivity interface.
- 🎤 Click to toggle the recording sound on or off.
5.9 Audio Output
After connecting to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you can use your phone's Bluetooth to connect to Bluetooth headphones. All sounds from the device will be transmitted to your Bluetooth headphones for music playback or answering calls.
If you experience any sound abnormalities, please disconnect your phone from the headphones and reconnect.
5.10 Video Playback
To view recorded videos and photos:
- Click the Video Playback button on the main interface to enter the video playback interface.
- You can select from Video, Photo, or Locked Video folders.
- Click the select button next to a file to delete, lock, or unlock it.
- Use the play/pause button (▶) to control playback.
- Use the next/previous buttons (▶▶ / ◀◀) to switch between videos or photos.
- Click the fullscreen button to play the video in fullscreen.
- Click the back button (←) to return to the previous screen.

6. Settings
The settings options are divided into three main categories: General, Camera, and System.

6.1 General Settings
- Brightness: Adjust screen brightness. You can enable/disable auto-brightness and set minimum/maximum brightness levels.
- Assistive Touch: This is a floating window button in screen projection mode on your phone. You can choose to turn it on or off.
- Clear Connections: Click to clear the connection history with your phone (Bluetooth, WiFi, screen playback).
- Touch Mode: Choose between Normal Mode and Rainwater Mode. Rainwater Mode disables touch functionality when activated via the cable clicker button to prevent accidental touches.
6.2 Camera Settings
- Record Resolution: Set video recording resolution (1080P or 720P). Default is 1080P.
- Split Time: Configure video segmentation time (1 minute, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes). Default is 1 minute.
- Microphone: Turn microphone recording on or off.
- Rear Mirror Image: Turn the rear camera mirror image on or off. This option allows for flexible camera installation.
6.3 System Settings
- Language: Select the operating language (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Portuguese).
- Date and Time: Set the year, month, day, hour, minute, second, and time format.
- Storage Info: View information about the inserted memory card, including remaining available capacity.
- Format: Format all data on the inserted memory card. It is recommended to format the card when first inserted and regularly to ensure sufficient capacity.
- Factory Reset: Restore all settings to their initial factory state.
- Firmware Version: View the current firmware version of the device.
7. Troubleshooting

8. User Tips
- Secure Mounting: Ensure all bracket components are securely fastened to prevent movement during rides.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Stability: If you experience frequent disconnections or issues with CarPlay/Android Auto, try restarting your phone and the device. Ensure your phone's operating system and the device's firmware are up to date.
- Memory Card Maintenance: Regularly format your memory card (e.g., monthly) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption.

9. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the device. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Exposure: While the device is IP67 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion. Ensure all covers (e.g., TF card slot) are securely closed to maintain water resistance.
- Temperature: Operate the device within the specified temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Avoid extreme heat or cold.
- Cable Integrity: Periodically check all cables and connectors for signs of wear or damage. Ensure they are securely connected.
