4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
The T60 voice recorder is equipped with a built-in 220mAh polymer battery. To charge the device:
- Connect the included USB cable to the recorder's USB port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer's USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
- The LCD screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

4.2 Powering On/Off
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the device. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on and to the 'OFF' position to power off.
4.3 Connecting Accessories
- Earphones: Plug the earphones into the earphone jack for private listening.
- External Microphone: For enhanced audio input, connect the external microphone to the dedicated microphone jack.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Recording Audio
To start recording, simply slide the ON/OFF switch to 'ON' and then press the REC/STOP button. The device will begin recording, and the screen will display the recording time. To stop recording, press the REC/STOP button again. The recording will be automatically saved.
5.2 Voice Activated Recording (VOR)
The T60 features a Voice Activated Recording (VOR) function to save storage space and battery life. When VOR is enabled, the recorder will automatically start recording when sound is detected and pause when there is no sound.

To enable/disable VOR, navigate through the device's menu using the MENU button and select the VOR option.
5.3 MP3 Playback
The T60 can also function as an MP3 player. To play recorded files or MP3 music:
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Use the MODE button to switch to MP3 playback mode.
- Use the REW and FF buttons to navigate through your audio files.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause playback.

The device supports 7 equalizer modes: NOP, ROCK, POP, CLASSOL, SOFT, JAZZ, and DBB. These can be selected via the menu during playback.
5.4 A-B Repeat Function
The A-B repeat function allows you to loop a specific segment of an audio file during playback.

To use A-B repeat:
- During playback, press the A-B repeat button (often integrated with a navigation button or accessible via menu) at the desired starting point (A).
- Press it again at the desired ending point (B). The segment between A and B will then loop.
5.5 Telephone Recording
The T60 supports telephone recording using the provided Telephone Cable and Telephone/Recording Junction Box. Connect the junction box between your telephone and the wall jack, then connect the recorder to the junction box. Ensure the recorder is in recording mode when making or receiving calls.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
