1. Introduction
The Askey Smart 5G Hub HH20C is an advanced Integrated Home Access Device designed to provide high-speed internet connectivity using 5G and 4G LTE networks, combined with Wi-Fi 6E technology. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.

Rear Panel Interfaces:
- WPS Button: For easy Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
- RESET Button: To restore factory default settings.
- LAN Ports (2x RJ45): For wired network connections. One port also functions as a WAN port.
- ON/OFF Button: Power on/off the device.
- Power Port: Connect the power adapter here.

4. Setup Instructions
- Insert SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot on the bottom of the device. Carefully insert your unlocked 5G/4G LTE SIM card until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented.
- Connect Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the 'Power' port on the rear of the HH20C and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Power On: Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the rear panel to power on the device. Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize, indicating the device is ready.
- Initial Connection (Optional - Wired): For initial setup or a stable connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to a 'LAN' port on the HH20C and the other end to your computer's Ethernet port.
- Initial Connection (Wireless): On your Wi-Fi enabled device (smartphone, laptop), search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select the network named 'Smart-5G-Hub-ZKGw' (or as indicated on the bottom label). Enter the Wi-Fi password 'UNxAdU4GV9YM' (or as indicated on the bottom label) to connect.
- Access Web Interface: Open a web browser and navigate to the default IP address:
http://192.168.1.1. Log in using the admin password 'uy3dettx' (or as indicated on the bottom label). You may be prompted to change the default password for security.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Connecting Devices
- Wi-Fi Connection: Use the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password found on the device's bottom label to connect your wireless devices.
- WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup): Press the WPS button on the rear of the HH20C, then activate WPS on your client device within two minutes to establish a secure wireless connection without entering a password.
- Wired Connection: Connect devices like PCs, gaming consoles, or smart TVs to the LAN ports using Ethernet cables for a stable, high-speed connection.
5.2. Web Interface Configuration
The web interface (http://192.168.1.1) allows you to manage your network settings, including:
- Changing Wi-Fi SSID and password.
- Configuring 5G/4G LTE settings.
- Setting up Firewall, QoS (Quality of Service), and VPN.
- Managing connected devices.
- Updating firmware.
5.3. EasyMesh Functionality
The HH20C supports Wi-Fi EasyMesh, allowing you to create a unified mesh Wi-Fi network with other compatible EasyMesh devices for seamless coverage throughout your home or office. Refer to the EasyMesh documentation for detailed setup instructions.
6. Maintenance
- Keep Clean: Regularly wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
- Ventilation: Ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block the ventilation holes.
- Firmware Updates: Check the web interface periodically for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Power Cycle: If you experience minor network issues, try power cycling the device (turn off, wait 10 seconds, then turn on).
7. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Check if the SIM card is properly inserted and active.
- Verify that the device has 5G/4G LTE signal.
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected.
- Restart the device.
- Slow Wi-Fi Speed:
- Move closer to the router.
- Reduce interference from other electronic devices.
- Check for too many connected devices.
- Consider using the 5 GHz or 6 GHz band for faster speeds if your devices support it.
- Cannot Access Web Interface:
- Ensure your device is connected to the HH20C's network (wired or wireless).
- Verify you are entering the correct IP address (
http://192.168.1.1) and admin password. - Try a different web browser.
- Forgot Admin Password: Press and hold the 'RESET' button on the rear panel for about 10 seconds while the device is powered on. This will restore the device to factory default settings, including the default admin password and Wi-Fi credentials.
