Featuring a 4.3-inch color display, a high-definition 1000TVL camera with infrared (IR) LEDs, and an optional DVR function, it is suitable for various fishing scenarios including ice fishing, sea fishing, and river fishing. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your device.

4. Product Overview

The Eyoyo EF43A consists of a monitor unit and an underwater camera. The monitor features a sunshield for better visibility in bright conditions.

5. Setup Instructions

  1. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the 2600mAh built-in lithium battery using the provided power adapter. A full charge typically provides 6-7 hours of continuous working time. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

  2. Connect the Camera: Plug the camera cable into the video port on the monitor. Ensure the connection is firm.
  3. Attach Camera Holder and Float: Secure the camera holder to the camera. If desired, attach the big float to the cable at the desired depth to suspend the camera in the water. This helps control the camera's position and orientation.

  4. Mount the Monitor: Use the provided bracket to fix the monitor onto a fishing rod or other suitable support for convenient viewing.

  5. Deploy the Camera: Carefully lower the camera into the water to your desired depth. The super strong Kevlar fiber cable is designed to withstand significant tension (up to 30kg).

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Locate the power switch on the side of the monitor and slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the device. Slide to 'OFF' to power off.
  2. Adjust Backlight: The monitor features a backlight ON/OFF function. Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the monitor to control the backlight intensity or turn it off.

  3. Control IR Lights: The camera is equipped with 8 infrared LED lights for low-light conditions. These can also be controlled using the "+" and "-" buttons on the monitor. Adjust as needed for optimal visibility.
  4. OSD Language Settings: Access the menu button (labeled 'M' on the monitor) to navigate through the On-Screen Display (OSD) settings. You can select from English, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Chinese languages.
  5. DVR Function (Optional): If your model includes the DVR function, you can record video footage. Refer to the specific DVR instructions in the included user manual for detailed operation, including inserting the 8GB TF card (free gift) and starting/stopping recordings.
  6. Monitor Display: The 4.3-inch color monitor displays the live feed from the camera. The 16:9 aspect ratio provides a wide view.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the camera and cable with fresh water. Wipe the monitor and all components with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the fish finder in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) before long-term storage to prolong its lifespan.
  • Cable Care: Avoid kinking or sharply bending the camera cable. Coil it loosely for storage.

10. User Tips

  • Water Clarity: For best results, use the fish finder in clear water. Murky or heavily sedimented water will reduce visibility.
  • IR Light Usage: The infrared lights are excellent for dark or deep water. However, in very clear, shallow water, they might reflect off particles and reduce image clarity. Experiment with turning them on/off to find the best setting.
  • Cable Management: Use the provided camera holder and float to manage the camera's depth and orientation effectively. This helps in targeting specific areas or observing fish behavior.
  • Battery Conservation: If not actively viewing, consider turning off the monitor's backlight to extend battery life, especially during long fishing trips.
  • DVR Function: If your model has DVR, remember to regularly check and clear your TF card to ensure you have enough space for new recordings.

11. Warranty and Support

The Eyoyo EF43A Underwater Fish Finder comes with a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover items damaged due to misuse, accident, alteration, neglect, or unauthorized repair.
