Setup
1. Charging the Device
- Connect the Type-C USB magnetic cable to the magnetic charging port on the SGS MAX.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The status display will show the battery charging status. A full battery icon indicates charging is complete.

2. Attaching/Changing Bits
- Ensure the SGS MAX is powered off.
- Unscrew the chuck at the tip of the pen counter-clockwise to loosen it.
- Insert the desired 2.35mm diameter engraving or polishing bit into the chuck.
- Screw the chuck clockwise to securely fasten the bit. Ensure the bit is firmly seated before operation.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on the device, press the Power Button (refer to Figure 8 for location).
- The device will automatically shut down after 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery.
- To turn off the device manually, press and hold the Power Button.
2. Speed and Direction Adjustment
The SGS MAX features 5 RPM modes for various applications:
- Mode A (Auto Sensing): 10000-30000 RPM
- Mode 1 (Low): 15000 RPM
- Mode 2 (Medium): 20000 RPM
- Mode 3 (High): 25000 RPM
- Mode 4 (Maxium): 30000 RPM

To adjust speed and direction:
- Triple tap the Power Button to enter selection mode.
- In selection mode, press and rotate the pen left or right to vary the speed. Release to confirm the speed.
- Modes 1-4 have preset fixed speeds. Mode A allows for variable speed based on rotation angle.
- The Status Display will show the current gear and rotation direction (clockwise or anti-clockwise).

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the magnetic charging cable and check the battery indicator.
- Bit not rotating: Check if the bit is securely fastened in the chuck. Ensure the device is powered on and a speed mode is selected.
- Low power/performance: The battery might be low. Recharge the device. Ensure the correct speed setting is chosen for the task and material.
- Unusual noise or vibration: Turn off the device immediately. Check if the bit is bent or damaged, or if it's improperly installed. Replace damaged bits.

- Practice on Scrap Material: Before working on your final piece, practice on a similar scrap material to get a feel for the tool's speed and control.
- Light Pressure: Apply light, consistent pressure. Let the tool do the work; excessive force can damage the bit or the material.
