Failure to do so may result in the display not functioning correctly with your e-bike. - Press briefly to increase values or assist level. - '-' Button (Bottom Right):
- Press briefly to decrease values or assist level.

The LCD screen provides comprehensive information about your ride:

- Battery Level Indicator: Shows the current charge of your e-bike battery.
- Speed Indicator: Displays your current riding speed.
- Assist Level Indicator (PAS): Shows the current pedal assist level (e.g., 0-3, 1-5).
- Maximum Speed (MAXS): Records the highest speed achieved during the current trip.
- Trip Distance Indicator (TRIP): Shows the distance covered in the current trip.
- Odometer (ODO): Displays the total accumulated distance.
- Headlight Indicator: Illuminates when the e-bike's headlight is active.

3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your YL81C display:
- Mounting: Securely attach the display to your e-bike's handlebar. The display is designed for a handlebar size of Φ22.2mm. Ensure it is positioned for optimal visibility and accessibility of controls.
- Wiring: Connect the display to your e-bike's controller using the provided 5-hole female connector. Waterproof wires are recommended for durability and protection against elements. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.


Note:
Always ensure the e-bike's power is off before connecting or disconnecting the display to prevent damage to electrical components.
4. Operation
Operating your YL81C display is straightforward:
- Power On/Off: Hold the top power button for 2 seconds.
- Menu Navigation: Briefly press the top power button to cycle through different display menus or information screens.
- Adjusting Assist Level: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the pedal assist level (PAS). The available PAS levels are typically 0-3, 1-3, 0-5, or 1-5, depending on your e-bike's configuration.
- Headlight Control: Hold the '+' button for 2 seconds to turn the e-bike's headlight on or off.
- Parameter Settings: The display supports parameter setting functions. Refer to your e-bike's main controller manual or contact customer service for detailed instructions on accessing and modifying these settings, as they can vary.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the display screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen or casing.
- Water Resistance: The display is rated IP65 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. While it can withstand splashes and light rain, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to high-pressure water.
- Temperature: Operate the display within the specified operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. Store it within -30°C to 70°C. Extreme temperatures can affect performance and lifespan.
- Connections: Periodically check all connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
