8. Maintenance
8.1 Charging
The charging indicator status is as follows:
- Charging: Flashing red light.
- Finished Charging: Red light off.
The charging time is approximately 2.5 hours.
8.2 Storage and Care
- Store the device between -20°C and 60°C. Avoid environments with excessively high or low temperatures to prevent affecting its service life.
- Do not expose the device to open fire to avoid explosion.
- For long-term storage (more than 1 month), fully charge the device and store it in a dry place. Recharge it regularly (once every 3 months) to ensure proper function.
- Because the recorder needs to maintain the clock, if it is not used for more than 1 month, it must be fully charged and stored. Otherwise, the reuse time will become the system's default time, causing the latest recording to be overwritten due to incorrect timestamps.
- After long-term storage, connect to the mobile APP to update the clock before use.
9. Troubleshooting
- Device cannot be turned on: If the M3S cannot be turned on, please plug in the power cable to charge and reset the device.
- WiFi not appearing/connecting: Ensure you press the video and photo buttons for 3 seconds to activate WiFi. Check your mobile app for connection.
- Battery life issues: If the battery only lasts a short time (e.g., 45 minutes when recording video) after a few months, battery degradation may occur. Contact customer support for potential battery replacement options.
- Incorrect recording timestamps: If the device has been stored for a long time without use, the internal clock may reset. Fully charge the device and connect to the mobile APP to update the clock before recording.
10. User Tips
- Memory Card Choice: Always use a high-quality Class 10 TF card (or higher) for reliable video recording and to avoid data corruption.
- Regular Charging: Even if not in use, charge your M3S every 3 months to maintain battery health and ensure the internal clock remains accurate for video timestamps.
- App Connectivity: Utilize the mobile app for easy video viewing and management, especially after long storage periods to synchronize the device's clock.
- Mounting Flexibility: The 360° rotation feature allows you to adjust the camera lens angle after mounting, so ensure the mount itself is secure before fine-tuning the camera's direction.
