5. Setup Guide

  1. 5.1 Connect to TV

    Connect one end of the provided HD Cable (HDMI) to the HD port on the TV Box and the other end to an available HDMI input on your television.

  2. 5.2 Connect Power

    Plug the power adapter into the DC 5V port on the TV Box, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on using the remote control.

  3. 5.3 Connect to Network

    • Wired Connection (Ethernet): Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the TV Box.
    • Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi): Go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi, select your network, and enter the password. The device supports dual-band 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi for faster and more stable connections.

  4. 5.4 Remote Control Setup

    Insert AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control. The remote allows navigation, volume control, and access to various functions.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. 6.1 Power On/Off and Sleep

    Press the power button on the remote control to turn the device on or off. A short press will put the device into sleep mode, and another short press will wake it up. The power LED indicator will change from blue (on) to red (sleep).

  2. 6.2 Navigating the Interface

    Use the arrow keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) on the remote control to navigate through the menus and applications. Press the 'OK' button to select an item.

  3. 6.3 Switching Applications

    From the home screen, click on the desired application icon to launch it. You can also access a list of all installed applications.

  4. 6.4 Closing Applications

    Press the 'Back' key on the remote control to exit an application. For some applications, you may need to press it multiple times to fully close them.

  5. 6.5 Back to Home Screen

    Press the 'Home' button on the remote control at any time to return to the main home screen.

  6. 6.6 External Storage Data

    Insert a USB disk or TF card into the corresponding port. The device will detect it, and you can access its content via the 'File' manager application.

  7. 6.7 WLAN Hotspot (Portable Hotspot)

    To set up a portable Wi-Fi hotspot: Go to Settings > Other > More Setting > Portable hotspot. Select 'Portable Wi-Fi hotspot' to configure your network SSID, security, and password. Ensure the device is connected to a wired network (Ethernet) as it cannot use Wi-Fi for both input and output simultaneously.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.

8. Troubleshooting

Q: No display on TV / Black screen.
A: Check if the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the TV Box and the TV. Ensure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input source. Verify the power adapter is connected and the device is powered on.
Q: Remote control not responding.
A: Check if the batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV Box's IR receiver. Try replacing the batteries.
Q: Wi-Fi connection issues.
A: Ensure your Wi-Fi router is on and within range. Double-check the Wi-Fi password. Try restarting both the TV Box and your router. The device supports both 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi, try connecting to the other band if available.
Q: Device is slow or freezing.
A: Close any unused applications running in the background. Clear the cache of frequently used apps. Consider performing a factory reset if the issue persists (backup important data first).
