4. Product Overview
4.1 Amplifier Front Panel Controls

- PWR / Play/Pause Button: Long press for 3 seconds to power on/off. Short press to play/pause audio.
- MODE Button: Long press for 3 seconds to restore factory settings. Short press to switch between input modes (Bluetooth/USB/AUX/MIC).
- VOL- / TWS Button: Long press for 3 seconds to turn on/off TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode. Short press to decrease volume.

5. Setup
5.1 Speaker Wiring
The amplifier supports up to four speakers. Follow these steps to connect your speakers:
- Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on your speakers and the amplifier.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of each speaker to the corresponding negative (-) terminal on the amplifier's speaker output (L1-, R1-, L2-, R2-).
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of each speaker to the corresponding positive (+) terminal on the amplifier's speaker output (L1+, R1+, L2+, R2+).
- Loosen each screw on the green terminal blocks of the receiver, insert one end of the bare speaker wire into the terminal, and then tighten the screw. Gently pull the cable to ensure a secure connection.

Important: Please estimate the specific plug type and the distance to the speakers BEFORE installation so that the wires are not too short.
5.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided 24V 3A AC/DC power adapter to the PWR interface on the amplifier, then plug the power cord into a suitable wall outlet.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the PWR button (1) for approximately 3 seconds to turn the amplifier on or off.
6.2 Selecting Input Mode
Short press the MODE button (2) to cycle through the available input modes: Bluetooth (BT), USB, AUX, and Microphone (MIC).
6.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode using the MODE button. The BT indicator light will illuminate.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for Bluetooth devices.
- Select "Herdio" from the list of available devices. No password is required for pairing.
- Once connected, the BT indicator light may change or remain steady. You can now stream audio wirelessly.
6.4 AUX Input
Connect your audio source (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the AUX interface on the side panel using a 3.5mm audio cable. Switch the amplifier to AUX mode using the MODE button.
6.5 USB Playback
Insert a USB storage device containing audio files into the USB interface on the side panel. Switch the amplifier to USB mode using the MODE button. The amplifier will automatically begin playing audio from the USB device.
6.6 Microphone Input
Connect a dynamic microphone to the MIC interface on the side panel. Switch the amplifier to MIC mode using the MODE button. Adjust the volume as needed.

6.7 Volume and Track Control
- Volume Decrease: Short press the VOL- / TWS button (3).
- Volume Increase: Short press the VOL+ / MO/ST button (4).
- Previous Track: Short press the Previous Track button (5).
- Next Track: Short press the Next Track button (6).
- Fast Rewind: Long press the Previous Track button (5) for 3 seconds.
- Fast Forward: Long press the Next Track button (6) for 3 seconds.
6.8 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Mode
To connect two Herdio AMP-BTX01 amplifiers for a stereo experience:
- Ensure both amplifiers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
- On one amplifier, long press the VOL- / TWS button (3) for 3 seconds to activate TWS pairing. The TWS indicator light will flash.
- The two amplifiers will attempt to pair with each other. Once successfully paired, the TWS indicator lights on both units will become steady.
- Connect your Bluetooth device to one of the paired amplifiers (it will appear as "Herdio"). Audio will now play in stereo across both amplifiers and their connected speakers.

6.9 Mono Mode
Long press the VOL+ / MO/ST button (4) for 3 seconds to switch between stereo and mono output. The MO/ST indicator light will show the current mode.
6.10 Factory Reset
If you encounter issues or wish to clear all settings, long press the MODE button (2) for 3 seconds to restore the amplifier to factory default settings.
