Setup Guide

1. Unboxing and Package Contents

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all standard accessories are present:

2. Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the projector's DC input port. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The projector supports AC100-240V/50-60Hz input.

3. Placement and Projection Angle

Place the projector on a stable surface. The K2 features a 230° flexible projection angle, allowing you to project onto walls or ceilings without needing a separate stand. Gently adjust the projector's body to achieve the desired projection location and angle.

4. Initial Power On

The projector features a thermal touch screen for booting. Gently touch the power button on the projector's panel for quick response and easy startup.

5. Automatic Focus and Keystone Correction

The Salange K2 is equipped with 3-second auto focus and 2-second auto keystone correction. This means the projector will automatically adjust the image clarity and correct any skewed or trapezoidal images, providing a perfectly structured picture with every projection.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cloths that could scratch the lens.
  • Exterior: Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water, then wipe dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.

2. Storage

Troubleshooting

1. No Power

  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the projector and the power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functioning correctly by plugging in another device.
  • If using the built-in battery, ensure it is charged.

2. No Image or Blurry Image

  • Check if the projector is powered on.
  • Ensure the lens cap is removed.
  • Allow the auto focus feature to complete its adjustment (approx. 3 seconds). If still blurry, try manually adjusting focus if available or reposition the projector.
  • Verify the projection distance is within the recommended range (1.2-4m).
  • Check the input source (HDMI, USB) is correctly selected and the external device is outputting a signal.

3. Skewed or Distorted Image

  • Allow the auto keystone correction feature to complete its adjustment (approx. 2 seconds).
  • Ensure the projector is placed on a level surface.
  • If the issue persists, try repositioning the projector to be more directly aligned with the projection surface.

4. No Sound

  • Check the volume settings on both the projector and the connected source device.
  • Ensure no external headphones or speakers are connected to the 3.5mm audio out port if you intend to use the built-in speakers.
  • If using Bluetooth speakers, ensure they are correctly paired and connected.

5. Connectivity Issues (WiFi/Bluetooth)

  • WiFi: Ensure the projector is within range of your WiFi router. Re-enter the WiFi password if necessary. Try restarting both the projector and your router.
  • Bluetooth: Ensure the Bluetooth device is in pairing mode and within range. Disconnect and re-pair the device.
  • Screen Mirroring: Ensure your smartphone/tablet and the projector are on the same WiFi network. Check that the screen mirroring function is activated on both devices.
