5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Flip the main power switch located on the handle to the "ON" position. The LCD display will light up.

  2. Temperature Adjustment:
    • Press the "Up" button once to increase the temperature by 1°C.
    • Press and hold the "Up" button to continuously increase the temperature.
    • Press the "Down" button once to reduce the temperature by 1°C.
    • Press and hold the "Down" button to continuously reduce the temperature.
    • The set temperature will be saved automatically after 3 seconds of inactivity and will be recalled upon the next power-on.
    • If the temperature display (F or C symbol) flashes, it indicates that the heating core has not yet reached the set temperature.
  3. Air Volume Adjustment: Press the "SET" button to toggle between temperature and air volume adjustment modes. Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to adjust the air volume from level 1 to 10.
  4. Automatic Cooling: When the hot air gun is placed on its stand, it will automatically enter cooling mode. The fan will continue to operate until the temperature drops below 70°C, then it will stop. This feature protects the heating element and extends its lifespan.
  5. Power Off: Flip the main power switch to the "OFF" position. Ensure the gun has cooled down before storing.
