7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your microscope, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Image on Display:
- Ensure all cables (HDMI/VGA/USB) are securely connected.
- Verify the power adapter is correctly plugged into the camera and a working power outlet.
- Check the input source on your monitor/PC is set to the correct input (e.g., HDMI1, USB).
- If using USB, ensure the driver software is installed correctly on your PC.
- Image is Blurry:
- Rotate the focus ring on the C-mount lens until the image is clear.
- Adjust the working distance between the lens and the object.
- Ensure the object is well-lit.
- Image is Too Dark/Bright:
- Adjust the exposure settings in the camera's OSD menu or using the remote control (AE button).
- If using an LED ring light, adjust its brightness.
- Color Distortion:
- Adjust the white balance (AWB) settings in the OSD menu or via remote control. You can try automatic white balance or manually adjust RGB values.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Ensure there are fresh batteries in the remote control (e.g., CR2025).
- Point the remote control directly at the camera's IR sensor.
- Cannot Record/Save Images to TF Card:
- Ensure a TF card is inserted correctly into the camera's TF card slot.
- Check if the TF card has sufficient free space.
- Verify the TF card is not locked (read-only).
- Ensure the TF card is formatted correctly (FAT32 recommended).
8. User Tips
- Optimal Lighting: Good lighting is crucial for clear images. Experiment with the LED ring light's brightness and angle to eliminate shadows and glare.
- Stable Setup: Always ensure the flexible arm and camera are stable to prevent image shake, especially during photography or video recording.
- Software Features: Explore the measurement and annotation features in the PC software for professional applications.
- Regular Cleaning: Keep the lens and sensor clean to maintain image quality. Dust can significantly degrade performance.
- Experiment with Settings: Don't hesitate to experiment with exposure, white balance, and other image settings to achieve the best results for different types of objects and lighting conditions.
