- Remote Control Battery: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Charging: Connect the boat battery to the USB charging cable. Plug the USB cable into a suitable USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port). The indicator light on the charger will show charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
3.2. Propeller Attachment
Attach the two propellers to the motor shafts at the rear of the boat. Ensure they are securely fastened.
3.3. Initial Power On and Pairing
- Turn on the power switch on the bait boat. The indicator light on the boat should illuminate.
- Turn on the power switch on the remote control.
- The boat and remote control should automatically pair. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Remote Control Layout
- Direction Control Stick: Controls the boat's movement (forward, backward, left, right).
- Cruise Control Button: Activates/deactivates cruise mode.
- Lighting Button: Toggles the boat's navigation lights.
- OK Button: General confirmation button.
- Left/Right Trim: Adjusts boat's straight-line tracking.
- Bait Tank Button: Opens the bait tank to release bait.
- Switch: Power ON/OFF for the remote.
- Indicator Light: Shows remote control status.
4.2. Basic Navigation
Use the Direction Control Stick to maneuver the boat. Push forward to move forward, pull back to reverse, and move left/right to steer. The boat has an automatic balance system to correct yaw caused by wind or waves, ensuring it drives straight.
4.3. Cruise Control
To activate cruise control:
- Push the Direction Control Stick forward.
- Press the Cruise Control Button for approximately 2 seconds.
The boat will now maintain a constant speed in a straight line. You can still adjust the sailing direction using the controller while in cruise mode.
4.4. Bait Release
Fill the large bait bin with up to 2kg (4.4lbs) of bait. Drive the boat to your desired baiting spot, then press the Bait Tank Button on the remote control to release the bait. This allows for precise, fixed-point nesting.
4.5. Hook and Line Attachment
The rear bait bin features an anti-unhooking design. You can send the hook and release line along with the bait to prevent the fishing line from winding, improving fishing efficiency.
4.6. Night Operation
The boat is equipped with high-brightness LED front lights and blue lights on both sides of the stern. Use the Lighting Button on the remote to turn them on. These lights help you determine the boat's position and navigation direction from a distance during night fishing.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the boat thoroughly with fresh water to remove any salt, dirt, or debris. Ensure all compartments are dry before storage.
- Battery Care: Always fully charge the boat battery before storage if it will not be used for an extended period. Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or completely drain the batteries. Remove AA batteries from the remote control if storing for long periods.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the propellers for any fishing line, weeds, or damage. Clean them as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Storage: Store the bait boat and remote control in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
- Boat not responding to remote:
- Ensure both the boat and remote control are powered on.
- Check if the remote control batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge.
- Ensure the boat battery is charged and properly connected.
- Verify that you are within the 500-meter control range.
- Re-pair the remote and boat by turning both off and then on again.
- Boat not driving straight:
- The built-in automatic balance system should correct yaw. If persistent, check for debris in propellers or damage to the hull.
- Use the Left/Right Trim buttons on the remote control to fine-tune straight-line tracking.
- Low Battery Alarm: When the boat's battery is in a low state, the remote control will emit a "drip" sound prompt. Return the boat to shore immediately for recharging.
