2. Safety Information

  • Always ensure the light is securely mounted before riding.
  • Do not look directly into the light beam to avoid eye injury.
  • Keep the light away from children.
  • Use only the original charging cable for charging to prevent damage.

5. Setup and Installation

The RHL1500 offers versatile mounting options, including front-mounted and suspended installations. The light is designed for easy attachment to your bicycle's handlebar.

5.1 Attaching the Mount to the Light

  1. Identify the mounting slot on the bottom of the RHL1500 light unit.
  2. Align the aluminum alloy bracket with the slot.
  3. Insert the small screw into the designated hole and tighten it using the provided hexagon wrench. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached.

5.2 Installing the Light on the Handlebar

The RHL1500 supports both direct installation and hoisting with an extended holder (extended holder not provided).

  1. Choose your preferred mounting position on the handlebar.
  2. Place the non-slip gasket around the handlebar at the chosen spot.
  3. Position the aluminum alloy bracket over the gasket and secure it to the handlebar using the provided screws and hexagon wrench.
  4. Slide the RHL1500 light unit (with its attached bracket) onto the handlebar mount until it clicks into place.
  5. For suspended installation, attach the pendant base to an extended holder (if using) and then attach the light unit to the pendant base.

5.3 Remote Control Setup (RC Version Only)

  1. Attach the remote control to your handlebar using Remote Accessory 1 and the rubber ring (Remote Accessory 2).
  2. **First Matching**: Long press the main button on the RHL1500 light unit. While still pressing, long press any button on the remote control until the red and blue lights on the remote flash, indicating successful pairing.

6. Operation

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Switching

  • **Power On**: Long press the main button for 1 second to enter Common Brightness Mode.
  • **Mode Shift**: Click the main button to cycle through the 5 lighting modes: High Brightness (1500 Lumens), Medium Brightness (600 Lumens), Common Brightness (400 Lumens), Endurance Mode (200 Lumens), and Warning Mode (200 Lumens, flashing).
  • **Power Off**: Long press the main button for 1 second to turn off the light.

6.2 Remote Control Functions (RC Version Only)

  • **Left/Right Buttons**: Click to shift between lighting modes.
  • **Function Mode**: Double click to enter Warning Mode. Triple click to enter Smart Mode.

6.3 Smart Brightness Sensing

The RHL1500 features intelligent sensing that automatically adjusts brightness according to ambient light conditions, saving power and optimizing visibility. To activate Smart Mode, triple click the Function Mode button on the remote control (or refer to the main button's smart mode activation if no remote). If the light remains at rest for 60 seconds in Smart Mode, it will automatically turn off.

6.4 Power and Charging Status Indicators

The light unit provides clear indicators for its power level and charging status:

7. Maintenance

7.1 Charging

The RHL1500 is equipped with a 5000mAh lithium battery and supports Type-C charging. Use the provided Type-C charging cable to charge the device. Ensure the charging port cover is sealed after charging to maintain its waterproof integrity.

7.2 Cleaning and Storage

  • Clean the light's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the lens is clean for optimal light output.
  • Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its health.

8. Troubleshooting

  • **Light not turning on**: Ensure the battery is charged. Long press the power button for 1 second.
  • **Light not changing modes**: Check if the main button or remote control buttons are functioning correctly. Ensure the remote is paired if applicable.
  • **Remote control not working**: Re-pair the remote control with the light unit (refer to Section 5.3). Check the remote's battery and replace if necessary (rotate upper shell to change remote's battery).
  • **Light output seems low**: The light features smart temperature control and low-voltage protection. If the bead temperature exceeds 70°C, brightness will automatically lower. If it exceeds 100°C, it will turn off. If battery voltage is too low, it will automatically turn off. When power is less than 15%, only 400/200 lumens brightness is supported. Charge the light if the battery is low.
