3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your VONTAR DQ03 Mini TV Stick:
- Connect to TV: Plug the DQ03 TV Stick directly into an available HDMI port on your television. If space is limited, use the provided HD Cable (HDMI Extension Cable) to connect the stick to the TV.
- Connect IR Extender (Optional): If the TV stick is not directly visible to your remote control, connect the IR Extend Cable to the External IR Jack on the TV stick. Position the IR extender in a location where it has a clear line of sight to your remote.
- Power On: Connect the USB-Type C Power Cable to the Type-C Power Jack on the TV stick and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (DC 5V@2A, not included) or a powered USB port on your TV. The power indicator light on the stick will turn blue when powered on.
- Select Input: Turn on your TV and use your TV remote to select the correct HDMI input source to which the DQ03 TV Stick is connected.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Setup and Navigation
Upon first boot-up, you may be guided through an initial setup process to configure language, time zone, and network settings. Use the included IR Remote Control to navigate the Android TV interface. The operating system is designed to be simple and smooth.

4.2 Wi-Fi Connection
To connect to the internet:
- Go to Settings on the home screen.
- Select Network & Internet.
- Choose your desired Wi-Fi network (supports 2.4G and 5.8G).
- Enter the password and connect.
4.3 Using Applications
The DQ03 TV Stick comes with pre-installed applications like Google Play, YouTube, HBO Max, and Prime Video. You can download more apps from the Google Play Store.

4.4 Screen Sharing

5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your DQ03 Mini TV Stick:
- Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
- Avoid exposing the device to water or other liquids.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
- Periodically check for and install OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware updates to keep your system optimized and secure.
5.1 OTA Online Upgrade
The DQ03 TV Stick supports firmware wireless upgrades. This allows you to receive new firmware releases to fix bugs or add new functions.
- Enter Settings > System Update.
- Click the download icon (↓) and choose Download.
- Once the download is complete, click Upgrade Now.
- After a successful upgrade, the box will restart and enter the Main Menu.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DQ03 Mini TV Stick, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power/Device Not Turning On:
- Ensure the USB-Type C power cable is securely connected to both the TV stick and a working power source (DC 5V@2A).
- Try a different USB power adapter or USB port.
- Check if the power indicator light on the stick is blue (on) or red (off).
- No Signal/Black Screen on TV:
- Verify that the TV stick is firmly plugged into the HDMI port on your TV.
- Ensure your TV is set to the correct HDMI input source.
- Try connecting the TV stick to a different HDMI port on your TV.
- If using the HDMI extension cable, ensure it is properly connected.
- Remote Control Not Responding:
- Check and replace the batteries in the remote control.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV stick (or IR extender).
- If using the IR Extend Cable, ensure it is properly connected and positioned.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues:
- Check if your Wi-Fi router is working correctly.

8. User Tips
- TV Compatibility: Ensure your television has an available HDMI input port for direct connection of the TV stick. If your TV lacks an HDMI port, an HDMI to AV converter (not included) would be required, but compatibility and performance may vary.
- Power Source: For stable performance, use a dedicated 5V/2A power adapter for the TV stick rather than relying solely on a TV's USB port, as some TV USB ports may not provide sufficient power.
