5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  1. Connect to Power Source: Ensure the inverter is securely connected to your 12V DC power source (e.g., battery) with correct polarity.
  2. Turn On: Locate the power switch on the inverter (refer to Figure 4) and switch it to the "ON" position. The LCD display will illuminate, showing the current ambient temperature as part of the power-on sequence.
  3. Connect Appliances: Plug your AC appliances into the European sockets or use the USB ports for charging. Ensure the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the inverter's rated continuous power.
  4. Turn Off: Before disconnecting any appliances or the inverter from its power source, switch the power button to the "OFF" position.

5.2 Display Instructions

The LCD liquid crystal display provides crucial information about the inverter's status:

  • Power-on Display: Upon startup, the display shows the current ambient temperature.
  • Low-Voltage Protection: If the input voltage drops below the applicable range (e.g., 10V for a 12V system), the inverter will trigger low-voltage protection and stop output. The display will show "9.9V 1500W" (example for 1500W model).
  • High-Voltage Protection: If the input voltage exceeds the applicable range (e.g., 15V for a 12V system), high-voltage protection will be triggered. The display will show "15.2V 1500W" (example for 1500W model).
  • High Temperature Protection: If the inverter's internal temperature becomes too high, it will enter high temperature protection, and the display will show "12.2V 1500W" (example for 1500W model) along with a temperature icon. The inverter will not operate normally under these conditions.
  • Short-Circuit Protection: In case of a fault in the electrical appliance or load circuit, short-circuit protection will activate. The display will show "AC -SC" and "0W".
  • Overload Protection: If the connected load power exceeds the inverter's rated value, overload protection will be triggered. The display will show "AC 220V 1600W" (example for 1500W model with 1600W load).
