5. Setup & Installation
5.1 Mounting the Device
The Vtopek Carplay unit offers two primary mounting methods:
- Dashboard Bracket: Place the unit on your dashboard using the provided non-slip mat and bracket.
- Suction Cup Bracket: Attach the unit to your windshield using the suction cup holder for a secure fit.

5.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided car charger to your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket) and to the Carplay unit. For advanced features like the 24H Parking Monitor, a professional custom power cable is required for direct wiring to your car's electrical system.

5.3 Camera Installation (Optional)
The unit features an integrated 2.5K front camera. If your package includes an optional 1080P rear camera, follow these steps:
- Mount the rear camera at the back of your vehicle, ensuring a clear view.
- Route the rear camera cable to the main unit and connect it to the designated input port.
- Ensure the camera is properly aligned for optimal reversing view and recording.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Wireless CarPlay Connection
To connect your iPhone wirelessly via CarPlay:
- On your iPhone, open Settings.
- Navigate to Bluetooth and turn it on.
- On the Carplay unit, go to the Bluetooth connection screen. Find and select the device name (e.g., "TF781BT_4871130c").
- Confirm the pairing on both devices. Once connected, select "Use CarPlay" on your iPhone.

6.2 Wireless Android Auto Connection
To connect your Android phone wirelessly via Android Auto:
- On your Android phone, open Settings.
- Navigate to Connected devices or Bluetooth and turn it on.
- On the Carplay unit, go to the Bluetooth connection screen. Find and select the device name (e.g., "TF781BT_4871130c").
- Confirm the pairing on both devices. A pairing code will be displayed; confirm it and click "Pair".
Note: Huawei phones may not support Android Auto functions.

6.3 Voice Control
Once connected to CarPlay or Android Auto, you can activate your phone's voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant) for hands-free commands. Use voice commands for navigation, making calls, playing music, and more.

6.4 Audio Output

- FM Transmission: Tune your car radio to an unused FM frequency and set the unit to transmit on the same frequency.

6.5 Recording Functions
- Dual Channel Recording: The front 2.5K camera and optional 1080P rear camera record simultaneously, providing comprehensive coverage.
- Loop Recording: The system automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the memory card is full, ensuring continuous recording. Important footage can be locked to prevent overwriting.
- G-sensor: In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor automatically detects the event and locks the current video segment, protecting it from being overwritten.
- 24H Parking Monitor: With the professional power cable installed, the unit can monitor your vehicle for 24 hours, recording time-lapse video to save storage space.
- Real-time Reversing View: When reversing, the system automatically switches to the rear camera display, showing a wide-angle view with parking lines to assist in safe parking.

- Q: Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto is not connecting.
- A: Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone. Ensure the unit's Bluetooth is discoverable. Try restarting both the unit and your smartphone. Forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
- Q: No audio output to car speakers.
- A: Check your selected audio output method (Bluetooth, FM, AUX). If using FM, ensure the unit and your car radio are tuned to the same clear, unused frequency. If using AUX, ensure the cable is properly connected and your car's audio input is set to AUX.
- Q: Recording is not working or footage is missing.

- Q: Rear camera image is not displayed.
