3. Setup

3.1. SIM Card Installation

  1. Choose a Micro SIM card without a PIN code. Normal SIM and Nano SIM cards are not compatible.
  2. Carefully open the top cover of the tracker.
  3. Insert the Micro SIM card into the slot as shown in the diagram. Ensure it is properly seated.
  4. Close the top cover securely.

3.2. Initial Power-Up and Placement

  1. Connect the tracker to an external power supply (e.g., vehicle battery).
  2. Place the device outdoors for approximately 30 seconds. The LED lights will remain lit, indicating normal operation.
  3. For optimal GPS signal reception, ensure the GPS antenna side of the tracker faces the clear sky. Avoid placing it under metal. Glass and plastic covers are acceptable.

3.3. Wiring Diagram

Connect the wires according to the following diagram. The optional relay allows for remote control of the vehicle's oil and circuit.

3.4. Activating Online Tracking (SMS Configuration)

To connect your tracker to the online platform, send the following SMS commands to the tracker's SIM card number:

  1. Set GPRS Mode: Send 7100000 (Password is 0000 by default). Reply: SET OK.
  2. Set IP and Port: Send 8040000 45.112.204.246 8090. Reply: SET OK.
  3. Set APN: Send 8030000 APN. (Replace APN with your SIM card's Access Point Name). Reply: SET OK.
    If your APN requires a username and password, send: 8030000 APN APNuser APNpassword.

4.1. Tracking Platform & Mobile App

The SinoTrack GPS tracker offers a lifetime free tracking platform and mobile application for real-time monitoring and history route playback.

  • Website Tracking (PC Version): Access the platform at www.sinotrackpro.com or 45.112.204.246.
  • Mobile Application (APP): Search for "SinoTrack PRO" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or scan the QR code provided in the images.

  • Server: Pro.SinoTrack
  • User Name: Your device's ID number (found on the tracker)
  • Password: 123456 (default, please change after first login)

4.2. SMS Commands for Functions

The tracker can be controlled and configured via SMS commands sent to the SIM card number inside the device. All commands require a password (default: 0000).

  • Set Control Number: Number+password+blank+serial
    Example: 139504434650000 1 (Sets 13950443465 as the first control number with password 0000). You can set up to three control numbers.
  • Change Password: 777+NewPassword+OldPassword
    Example: 77712340000 (Changes password from 0000 to 1234).
  • Get Location (Google Link): 669+password
    Example: 6690000. The tracker will reply with a Google Maps link to its current location.
  • Get Location by Phone Call: Dial the SIM card number in the tracker. It will reply with a Google Maps link.
  • Change Time Zone: 896+password+E/W+HH
    Example: 8960000E00 (Sets time zone to East 00, default).
  • Geo-Fence:
        Open: 211+password (e.g., 2110000)
        Close: 210+password (e.g., 2100000)
        Set radius: 005+password+distance (e.g., 0050000 1000 for 1000 meters).
  • Over Speed Alarm: 122+password+blank+XXX (XXX is speed in KM/H, 0-999)
    Example: 1220000 120 (Sets over speed alarm at 120 KM/H). Send 1220000 0 to close.
  • Shock Alarm:
        Open: 181+password+T (T is shocking time in seconds, 0-120)
        Example: 1810000T10 (Sets shock alarm with 10-second delay).
        Close: 180+password (e.g., 1800000).
  • Cut Power Alarm: When the battery is disconnected, the tracker sends an alarm to the server and the first control number.
  • ACC On/Off Alarm:

  • Call Mode:
        Call mode on: 150+password (e.g., 1500000). Alarms will call and send SMS.
        Call mode off: 151+password (e.g., 1510000). Alarms will only send SMS.
  • Set Time Interval:
        ACC on: 805+password+blank+T (T is interval in seconds, 10-180. 0 means close GPRS).
        ACC off: 809+password+blank+T (T is interval in seconds, 10-180. 0 means close GPRS).

4.3. Remote Cut Off Oil/Power (Optional)

If you have connected the optional relay, you can remotely cut off the vehicle's oil and electricity by sending an SMS command. This feature is useful in case of vehicle theft.

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris.
