4. Installation

4.1. Dimensions

Ensure your vehicle's dashboard opening is compatible with the player's dimensions:

4.2. Wiring Connections

Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper connection. Incorrect wiring can damage the unit or your vehicle's electrical system. The unit features built-in wiring protection to prevent damage from reverse power connections.

  • Reversing Camera Input: Connect your reversing camera here. The unit will automatically switch to the camera view when reverse gear is engaged (if properly wired).
  • Radio Antenna: Connect your car's radio antenna.

  • TF Card Slot: For media playback from a mini TF card.
  • AUX Input: 3.5mm jack on the front panel for external audio devices.

4.3. Mounting

5. Panel Button Introduction

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and interfaces on the front panel:

  • MIC: Microphone pickup hole.
  • MUTE: Mute button.
  • ◄◄ (Previous Track): Short press for previous track; long press for fast rewind.
  • ►► (Next Track): Short press for next track; long press for fast forward.
  • ▲ (Answer Call): Answer incoming calls.
  • ▼ (Hang Up Call): End calls.
  • ▶/M (Power Switch/Mode): Short press to switch modes (Radio, USB, TF, AUX, Bluetooth); long press to power on/off.
  • BAND/APS: Band switching (FM1, FM2, FM3); long press for automatic search and store radio stations.
  • AUX: 3.5mm auxiliary input jack.
  • Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust volume; press to confirm selections.
  • 1-6 Number Buttons: Radio presets; also used for specific functions in different modes (e.g., 3 for external video, 4 for music/video switching).

6. Operation

6.1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

Press and hold the ▶/M button to power the unit on or off. Short press the ▶/M button to cycle through available modes: Radio, USB, TF Card, AUX, and Bluetooth.

6.2. Radio Function

In Radio mode, use the BAND/APS button to switch between FM1, FM2, and FM3 bands. Long press BAND/APS to automatically search and store radio stations. Use the ◄◄ and ►► buttons to manually tune or seek stations. The 1-6 number buttons can be used to select stored preset stations.

6.3. Media Playback (USB/TF Card)

Insert a USB drive into the front USB port or a mini TF card into the TF card slot. The player will automatically switch to the corresponding mode or you can select it manually. The unit supports various audio (MP3/WMA/WAV/OGG/FLAC/APE), video (RM/RMVB/MP4/FLV/MKV/3GP/AVI/ASF/SWFMP1/MP2), and image (JPG/BMP/PNG) formats.

6.4. Bluetooth Connection

Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for available devices. Select 'SWL-BT' (default name) to pair. Once connected, you can make/receive calls and stream audio wirelessly. The unit uses Bluetooth 5.0 technology for stable connections.

6.5. Reversing Camera Function

If a reversing camera is connected to the dedicated input, the display will automatically switch to the camera view when the vehicle is put into reverse gear. This feature supports high-definition cameras for clear visibility.

6.6. Steering Wheel Remote Control

Use the provided steering wheel remote control to operate the player without touching the screen, allowing for convenient adjustment of volume, tracks, and modes.

6.7. Colorful Button Lights

The unit features customizable button lights with 7 colors that can cycle through or be set to a single color (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Purple, White).

7. Maintenance

Warranty Process for Free Replacement:

  1. Buyer Contacts Seller: Initiate contact with the seller regarding the issue.
  2. Confirm Quality Problems: The seller will confirm if the issue is a quality problem covered by warranty.
  3. Buyer Returns Item to Seller: The buyer sends the product back. The cost of returning the product is typically borne by the buyer.
  4. Seller Receives Return: The seller receives and inspects the returned product.
  5. Seller Sends a New One: If the return is valid, the seller arranges to send a new replacement. The cost of shipping the new replacement is typically borne by the seller.
