  • This product is a Class 2 laser device. Do not stare directly into the laser beam.

3. Components and Features

The laser level comes with several components to assist in various leveling tasks:

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery compartment on the side of the laser level.
  2. Insert the 3.7V/4800mAh Li-ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.
  4. To charge, connect the DC charger or USB power cord to the charging port on the device and plug it into a power source. The LED display will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours and provides about 8 hours of work time with all 16 lines active.

4.2 Mounting Options

  • Tripod Mounting: The laser level features a 1/4”-20 mounting thread. Attach it to the included tripod or any compatible tripod. The tripod can extend up to 39.37 inches and collapses to 16.73 inches for storage. A 5/8" adapter is included for broader compatibility.
  • Lifting Platform: Use the lifting platform for fine height adjustments, especially when projecting lines close to the ground (as close as 7mm).
  • Magnetic Bracket: Utilize the magnetic bracket to attach the laser level to metal surfaces for wall-mounted applications (as close as 6mm to the wall).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Locate the power switch on the device. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on. Slide to 'OFF' to power off.

5.2 Self-Leveling Mode

  • When powered on, the laser tool will automatically enter self-leveling mode if the pendulum is unlocked.
  • The device will self-level within a range of ±3°.
  • If the device is out of its self-leveling range, it will emit an audible beep and/or visual warning (e.g., flashing lights) to indicate an out-of-level condition. Adjust the position of the device until it self-levels.

5.3 Manual Mode (Slash Mode)

  • To enter manual mode, lock the pendulum.
  • Press and hold the top button (or the designated button on the remote) for 3 seconds.
  • In manual mode, the laser lines are locked and can be projected at any angle, which is useful for diagonal applications like stair railings.

5.4 Switching Laser Lines

  • The device features four 360° laser planes.
  • Use the 'H' button to activate/deactivate horizontal lines.
  • Use the 'V' button to activate/deactivate vertical lines. You can switch between 4 or 8 vertical lines depending on the model and settings.
  • The remote control can also be used to select the desired lines.

5.5 Remote Control Operation

  • The smart remote control allows for convenient operation from up to 33 feet away.
  • Use the 'H/+' button on the remote to control horizontal lines and increase brightness.
  • Use the 'V/-' button on the remote to control vertical lines and reduce brightness.
  • The remote also allows for easy selection of laser lines without needing to touch the device.

5.6 Pulse Mode

For use in bright environments or over long distances (up to 164ft), activate pulse mode. This mode requires a compatible laser receiver (not included) from WEIDDW for detection.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the laser level clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the laser level and its accessories in the provided carrying case to protect it from impacts and environmental factors. Ensure the pendulum is locked before storage or transport.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Laser lines are flashing or device is beeping. Device is out of its self-leveling range (±3°). Place the laser level on a more level surface or adjust its position until the warning stops.
Laser lines are not straight in manual mode. Pendulum is not locked. Ensure the pendulum is locked before entering manual mode.
Device does not power on. Low battery or battery not installed correctly. Check battery level on the digital display. Recharge the battery or ensure it is properly inserted.
Remote control not working. Remote battery low or obstruction between remote and device. Replace remote battery. Ensure clear line of sight to the laser level.
