FarDriver ND96890

FarDriver ND96890 Controller Instruction Manual

Model: ND96890

1. Introduction

The FarDriver ND96890 is a sine wave FOC (Field-Oriented Control) brushless DC (BLDC) motor controller featuring a self-learning function. It is generally compatible with QS and Yuma motors. For new motor brands, some parameters may require self-testing and adjustment. This controller utilizes a ONE-LIN protocol, ensuring compatibility only with displays that support the same protocol.

Please note that due to factory adjustments, the DC or phase current values may vary slightly (lower or higher) from the described specifications. However, this variation is minimal and does not affect the overall performance of the controller.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your FarDriver ND96890 controller, follow these general maintenance guidelines:

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your FarDriver ND96890 controller, consider the following:

8.1 Functional and Interface Issues

Most controllers are universal versions and not custom-made for specific vehicle brands. Therefore, after installation, some auxiliary functions of your original vehicle (such as speedometer display) may not operate as expected. Many functional interfaces may require modification rather than being plug-and-play.

Action: Before making any modifications, carefully review the function lines on your original vehicle and the communication signals of the speedometer. Consult a professional if you are unsure about wiring or modifications.

8.2 General Malfunctions

If the controller is not functioning correctly, first check all power and signal connections as per the wiring diagram (Figure 3). Ensure the battery is adequately charged and providing the correct voltage. Use the mobile application (Figure 4) to check for any error codes or unusual parameter readings.

9. User Tips

For optimal performance and safety, consider these user tips:

10. Warranty and Support

10.1 Warranty Information

A 1-year warranty is offered for motors and controllers. Please note that the buyer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs for any repairs or replacements under warranty.

The warranty does not cover man-made damage. If you lack experience in assembling electric kits, please exercise caution when purchasing, as improper installation or use may void the warranty.

10.2 Technical Support

Should you encounter any problems or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the seller or manufacturer's support team. They will endeavor to provide the best possible assistance.
