2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Keep this manual for future reference.
General Power Tool Safety Warnings:
- Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
- Wear personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
- Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source, picking up or carrying the tool.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
- Secure the workpiece. Always clamp or otherwise secure the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the workpiece by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
- Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use.

- Press and hold the spindle lock button, then tighten the blade bolt securely with the wrench. Do not overtighten.

5.2 Blade Selection
Choose the correct blade for your material to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- 24T TCT Blades (125 mm): Ideal for cutting wood.
- 60T HSS Blades (115 mm): Suitable for cutting plastic and soft metals.
- Diamond Blades (115 mm): Designed for cutting tiles.

5.3 Adjusting Cutting Depth
The cutting depth can be adjusted from 0 to 48 mm to suit your material thickness.
- Loosen the depth adjustment lever/knob.
- Move the base plate up or down until the desired cutting depth is indicated on the scale.
- Tighten the depth adjustment lever/knob securely.
Maximum cutting depth is 48 mm at 90° and 32 mm at 45° bevel.

- To stop the saw, release the trigger switch. The blade will come to a stop.
6.2 Basic Cutting
- Ensure your workpiece is securely clamped.
- Set the desired cutting depth and angle.

6.4 Dust Extraction
For a cleaner work environment and improved visibility, connect a vacuum cleaner to the saw's vacuum interface using the provided adapter.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your circular saw.
7.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the tool before cleaning.
- Keep the ventilation openings clear to prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris.
- Wipe the tool housing with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
7.2 Blade Care
- Inspect blades regularly for sharpness, cracks, or missing teeth. Dull or damaged blades can cause kickback and poor cut quality.
- Replace dull blades promptly. Do not attempt to sharpen blades unless you have the proper equipment and expertise.
- Clean resin and debris from blades using a suitable blade cleaner.
8. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Saw does not start | No power supply Safety button not pressed Faulty switch | Check power connection Ensure safety button is pressed before trigger Contact customer support |
| Poor cut quality / Blade binding | Dull or incorrect blade Improper cutting depth/angle Forcing the saw | Replace blade or use correct type for material Adjust depth and angle settings Allow saw to cut at its own pace |
| Excessive dust | Vacuum not connected or clogged Dust port blocked | Connect vacuum cleaner and ensure it's working Clear any blockages from the dust port |
| Overheating | Blocked ventilation slots Continuous heavy use | Clean ventilation slots Allow the tool to cool down; avoid prolonged heavy loads |
9. User Tips
- Extra Blades: While the saw comes with a versatile set of blades, you may wish to purchase additional or replacement blades. Always ensure they are compatible with a 115mm or 125mm blade diameter and the appropriate arbor size for the CS-115C model. Check with HYCHIKA authorized dealers for compatible accessories.
- Laser Guide: Please note that this model (CS-115C) does not feature an integrated laser guide for cutting lines. For precise straight cuts, rely on the parallel guide and careful marking.
