3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Ensure the transceiver is powered off.
  2. Align the battery with the battery compartment on the back of the unit and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
  3. To charge, connect the provided recharger to a power outlet and the charging base. Place the transceiver in the charging base. Alternatively, connect the Type-C charging cable directly to the Type-C port on the side of the transceiver and a compatible USB power source.
  4. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.2 Antenna Attachment

  1. Screw the antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector on the top of the transceiver until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on the device, rotate the power/volume knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks.

4.2 Mode Selection (Frequency/Channel)

4.4 NOAA Emergency Weather Receiver
