5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Battery
The lithium-ion battery is partially charged from the factory. Fully charge the battery before first use. The fast charger can fully charge the 1500mAh battery in approximately 1 hour.
- Connect the charger to a power outlet.
- Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
- The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

5.2. Installing/Removing the Battery
- To install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill and slide it in until it locks securely.
- To remove: Press the battery release button (Figure 2, item 9) and slide the battery pack out.
5.3. Installing/Removing Drill Bits or Screwdriver Bits
- Rotate the keyless chuck (Figure 2, item 1) counter-clockwise to open the jaws.
- Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.
- To remove, rotate the chuck counter-clockwise and pull the bit out.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Powering On/Off and Variable Speed Control
The tool is activated by pressing the trigger switch (Figure 2, item 7). The speed is variable and controlled by how much you depress the trigger. Pressing lightly results in lower speed, while pressing fully results in maximum speed.

6.2. Forward/Reverse Rotation
The forward/reverse buttons (Figure 2, item 6) control the direction of rotation. Push the button to the left for forward rotation (tightening screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (loosening screws). The center position locks the trigger for safety.
6.3. High/Low Speed Selection
Use the High/Low speed switch (Figure 2, item 3) to select the appropriate speed range for your task:
- Low Speed (0-400rpm): Ideal for high-torque applications like driving large screws or drilling into hard materials.
- High Speed (0-1500rpm): Suitable for fast drilling in softer materials or smaller screws.

6.4. Torque Control
The torque control dial (Figure 2, item 2) allows you to select from 21 torque settings plus a dedicated drill setting. Adjust the torque to prevent over-driving screws or damaging the workpiece. The drill setting provides maximum torque for drilling applications.
6.5. LED Work Light
The integrated LED light (Figure 2, item 4) illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, providing better visibility in dimly lit spaces.
