4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the device and a 5V 1.5A (7.5W) power adapter. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

5. Operation

5.1 Connecting to the Vehicle

1. Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC), usually under the dashboard on the driver's side.
2. Connect the OBD II Diagnostic Cable to the vehicle's DLC.
3. Connect the other end of the diagnostic cable to the LAUNCH X431 Creader ELITE 2.0 device. The device will power on automatically if connected correctly.

5.2 Auto VIN Scan

The device features an Auto VIN Scan function to automatically identify the vehicle and scan all diagnosable ECUs. This provides a quick and accurate start to diagnostics.

• Automatic Identification: The system will attempt to automatically identify the vehicle's VIN code upon connection.
