4. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent electric shock, damage to the device, or injury to personnel:
- Power Supply: Ensure the input power supply is DC 24V and stable. Incorrect voltage can damage the unit.
- Qualified Personnel: Installation, wiring, and maintenance should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Grounding: Properly ground the device to prevent electrical hazards.
- Environment: Operate the device within specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The unit has an IP65 waterproof rating, but avoid direct exposure to excessive moisture or harsh chemicals.
- No User Serviceable Parts: The device contains no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Wiring: Double-check all wiring connections before applying power to prevent short circuits or damage.
5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your HMI PLC Combo:
- Mounting:
Prepare a cutout of 120mm x 94mm in your control panel. Insert the HMI PLC Combo into the cutout and secure it using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure a snug fit to maintain the IP65 rating.
- Power Connection:
Connect a stable DC 24V power supply to the designated power terminals (FG, 0V, DC24V) on the back of the unit. Refer to the wiring diagram for correct polarity.

- I/O Wiring:
Connect your digital inputs (DI) to terminals X0-X11 and digital outputs (DO) to Y0-Y11. The digital inputs are Passive NPN, and outputs are Transistor (Low level NPN) or Relay (Normally open dry contact). For transistor outputs, COM connects to negative. For relay outputs, the max load is 5A; for MOS outputs, the max load is 2A.
If your model includes optional analog I/O, connect them according to your specific configuration. Analog inputs can support various types including Thermocouple, RTD, Voltage, and Current. Analog outputs support Voltage and Current.
