5. Operating Instructions
The Jansite Motorcycle DVR Dash Cam offers a range of functions accessible via its touch screen interface.

5.1 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Connect your smartphone wirelessly to the display unit for seamless integration of navigation, music, calls, and more.
- For iPhone (CarPlay): Pair your iPhone with the display unit via Bluetooth. Confirm CarPlay usage on your phone. The connection will then use 5G WiFi and will automatically connect after the initial pairing.
- For Android (Android Auto): Pair your Android phone with the display unit via Bluetooth. You will need to tap on the screen to confirm Android Auto usage. The connection will then use 5G WiFi.
Important: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi are both enabled for wireless connection.

5.2 DVR Functions (Dual Recording)
The device features dual AHD lenses, allowing simultaneous recording from both front and rear cameras to ensure comprehensive coverage of your ride.
- Real-time Recording: The system continuously records video while you ride.
- Loop Recording: When the memory card is full, the system automatically overwrites the oldest files, ensuring continuous recording without manual intervention.
- G-Sensor Lock: In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in gravity sensor automatically locks the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten.
- Super Night Vision: The cameras provide clear and detailed video images with high color reproduction, even in low-light conditions.

5.3 System Settings
Navigate through the touch screen menu to access various settings:
- Display Settings: Adjust brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and backlight. You can also choose different background wallpapers.
- Time Setup: Manually adjust year, month, day, hour, and minute.
- TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System): Monitor tire pressure and temperature (if TPMS sensors are connected and supported by your specific model).
- Sound Setup: Adjust audio settings.
- Language: Select your preferred OSD language.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Motorcycle DVR Dash Cam, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the display screen and camera lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Waterproof Care: While the device is IP67 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets directly on connections. Ensure all waterproof caps are securely fastened.
- Cable Management: Periodically check all cables for wear and tear. Ensure they are securely connected and not interfering with motorcycle operation.
- Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to some common issues you might encounter:
- Date and Time Mismatch After Reset: The device does not have a built-in power module for timekeeping. After a reset, the date and time may not be accurate. However, once CarPlay or Android Auto is automatically connected to your smartphone, the time will synchronize from your phone.
- Unable to Download APK Files: This monitor does not run on an Android operating system and therefore does not support downloading or installing APK files. Its WiFi functionality is solely for connecting to CarPlay or Android Auto and transferring data with your phone to ensure a stable and automatic connection.
- Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Connection Issues: Ensure both Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on your smartphone. Try restarting both your phone and the dash cam. Re-pair the devices if necessary.
- No Recording or SD Card Error: Ensure a Class 10 or higher Micro SD/TF card is inserted correctly. Format the card through the device's settings if it's a new card or if you experience issues. Check if the card has reached its maximum capacity (loop recording should prevent this, but a faulty card could be an issue).
8. User Tips
- For seamless wireless CarPlay or Android Auto functionality, always ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are active.
- Regularly check the recorded footage to ensure cameras are functioning correctly and capturing clear video.
- Utilize the G-Sensor lock feature by ensuring it's enabled in settings to protect critical footage during incidents.
- Keep the display unit's screen clean for optimal touch responsiveness and visibility.
