7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Lens and Probe

After each use, especially in dirty or oily environments, gently wipe the camera lens and probe with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn grime, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Ensure the probe is dry before storage.

7.2 Storage

Store the endoscope in its provided carrying box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the cable is not kinked or bent sharply during storage to maintain its integrity.

7.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Image on Screen: Ensure the device is powered on and fully charged. Check cable connections.
  • Poor Image Quality: Adjust the LED light brightness. Ensure the lens is clean. Verify the object is within the optimal focal range (2cm-10cm).
  • Device Shuts Down Automatically: This indicates the over-temperature protection has been activated. Allow the device to cool down before restarting.
  • Cannot Connect to App: Ensure the 'Sup-Anesok' app is installed and your smartphone meets the system requirements. Check your phone's Wi-Fi settings for connection.
  • Probe Not Articulating: Check for any obstructions or damage to the cable. Ensure the steering wheel control is functioning correctly.

9. User Tips

  • For automotive inspections, use the articulating feature to navigate tight engine compartments and inspect cylinder walls or valves without disassembly.
  • When inspecting pipes, slowly advance the probe while articulating to get a full view of the interior and identify blockages or damage.
  • Utilize the photo and video recording functions to document findings for later review or sharing with clients/mechanics.
  • Always ensure the probe is clean before inserting it into sensitive areas to avoid contamination.
