7. Troubleshooting & FAQ

7.1. Common Issues and Solutions

Q: Cannot access the internet after setup?
A: If the Signal indicator is off, it means the setting failed. Please check if the password entered for your existing Wi-Fi network is correct. Ensure you enter the correct password.
Q: Low speed after setting up the extender?
A: Check the status of the Signal indicator:
  • Blue: Indicates a strong signal.
  • Red: Indicates a weak signal.
If the signal is weak (Red indicator), the distance between your main router and the extender may be too far. Please adjust the position of the Wi-Fi extender to be closer to the router for optimal signal strength.

7.2. How to Reset the Device

If you encounter persistent issues or forget your settings, you can reset the device to its factory defaults:

  1. After powering on the device, wait for approximately 1 minute for it to fully start up.
  2. Press and hold the WPS/RST button for 6-7 seconds.
  3. Release the button when the indicator light flickers.
  4. Wait for the system to reset. The device will restart with default settings.

8. User Tips

  • The passwords for your extended Wi-Fi network (repeater) will be the same as your main router’s Wi-Fi password.
  • For the most reliable connection and optimal performance, it is recommended to place the extender where it receives more than 70% of the signal strength from your main router.
  • A poor signal connection between the router and the extender can lead to slow speeds or dropped connections.
  • If you do not see your desired wireless network during setup, try moving the range extender closer to your main router and scanning again, as it may be out of range.
