3. Components and Controls
Familiarize yourself with the various parts and controls of your SANSUI F50/F51 device.

4. Initial Setup
4.1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the side or back of the device.
- Open the cover and insert three 18650 lithium batteries (1200mAh each) according to the polarity markings.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a DC 5V/1A power adapter (not included).
- Allow the device to charge fully before first use. A full charge provides approximately 8-10 hours of operation.

4.2. Preparing Media for Playback
To play music, videos, images, or e-books, you need to load them onto a TF card or USB flash drive.
- Download your desired media files (music, videos, images, e-books) to a TF card or USB flash drive.
- For audio files with lyrics, ensure the corresponding ".LRC" lyric file is saved in the same folder as the audio file.
- Insert the prepared TF card into one of the TF card slots or the USB flash drive into the USB port on the device.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off and Volume Control
- **Power On:** Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a play/pause icon) until the screen lights up.
- **Power Off:** Press and hold the power button again.
- **Volume Adjustment:** Rotate the volume knob (typically on the top or side) to increase or decrease the sound level.
5.2. Radio Operation (FM/MW/SW)
- Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
- Press the **FM**, **MW**, or **SW** button to select the desired radio band.
- **Automatic Search:** Press and hold the "Play/Pause" button or a dedicated auto-search button (if available) to scan and save available stations.
- **Manual Tuning:** Rotate the tuning knob to manually search for stations.
- **Digital Selection:** Use the number pad to directly input a specific frequency.

5.3. Bluetooth Playback
- Press the **Bluetooth** button to enter Bluetooth mode. The screen will indicate that it's searching for devices.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "SANSUI F50" or "SANSUI F51" from the list of found devices to pair.
- Once paired, you can play audio from your mobile device through the SANSUI speaker.

5.4. Media Playback (USB/TF Card)
After inserting a USB drive or TF card with media files:
- Press the **Menu** button to navigate to the main menu.
- Select "Music," "Video," or "Photo" depending on the type of media you wish to play.
- Browse the files on your USB drive or TF card using the navigation buttons.
- Press the "Play/Pause" button to start playback. Use the skip buttons to navigate between files.
- For music with lyrics, ensure the ".LRC" file is present in the same directory as the audio file for lyrics to display.

5.5. E-book Reading
To read e-books:
- Ensure your e-book files (TXT, ANSI) are saved on a TF card or USB drive.
- Navigate to the main menu and select "E-book."
- Browse and select the desired e-book file to open it.
5.6. Headphone Use
Plug any standard 3.5mm wired headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

- **Video Playback:** While the device supports video playback, it is primarily designed for local media files stored on TF cards or USB drives. It does not support live TV reception or streaming services.
