3. Product Overview

The XY-LA01 decoding board integrates various components and interfaces for a comprehensive audio experience. Key features include:

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and set up your XY-LA01 decoding board:

4.1 Assembly of Protective Case

  1. Remove the protective film from both the top and bottom acrylic boards.
  2. Align the circuit board with the bottom acrylic board.
  3. Insert the four copper columns into the designated holes on the circuit board and secure them with screws from the bottom board.
  4. Place the top acrylic board onto the copper columns.
  5. Secure the top board with the remaining screws.
  6. Attach the knob cap to the multifunction knob.
  7. (Optional) Place the four magnets into the designated slots on the bottom of the assembled unit for easy adsorption to metal surfaces. Note: There is also a screw under the magnet.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided USB-A to Type-C cable to the Type-C power interface on the board and a 5V/1-3A power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter or computer USB port).

4.3 Audio Output Connection

Connect your speakers or headphones to the 3.5mm Audio Output jack on the board.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Multifunction Knob Controls

  • Long Press: Power ON/OFF
  • Click: Play/Pause
  • Double Click: Next track
  • Three Clicks: Switch play mode
  • Rotate Clockwise/Counter-clockwise: Stepless volume tuning (increase/decrease volume)

5.2 Bluetooth Connection

To connect your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device:

  1. Ensure the XY-LA01 board is powered on.
  2. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select and pair with the device named "XinYi BT".
  5. Once connected, you can play music through the board.

5.3 USB Flash Drive Playback

To play music from a USB flash drive:

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing WAV, FLAC, APE, or MP3 audio files into the USB Audio port.
  2. The board will automatically detect the USB drive.
  3. Use the multifunction knob or remote control to navigate and select music.
  4. To adjust the equalizer (EQ) settings, use the Sinilink APP (see section 5.5).

5.4 AUX Input

To use the AUX input:

  1. Connect your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX input jack using an audio cable.
  2. Switch the audio source to AUX mode using the multifunction knob (three clicks) or the remote control.

5.5 IR Remote Control (Optional)

If your version includes an IR remote control, you can use it for convenient operation:

  • Power On/Off: Turns the device on or off.
  • Mode: Selects audio source input (Bluetooth, AUX, USB).
  • Mute: Mutes/unmutes audio.
  • Play/Pause: Plays or pauses current track.
  • Previous/Next: Navigates to the previous or next track.
  • EQ: Cycles through equalizer presets.
  • VOL-/VOL+: Adjusts volume down or up.
  • RPT (Repeat): Toggles repeat modes (e.g., repeat all, repeat single).
  • U/SD (USB/SD): Selects USB flash drive input.
  • Number Keys (0-9): Selects music tracks (functionality may vary).

5.6 Sinilink APP Control

The Sinilink APP allows for advanced control and customization:

  1. Download and install the Sinilink APP on your smartphone.
  2. Connect your phone to the XY-LA01 board via Bluetooth (see section 5.2).
  3. Within the APP, you can:
    • Change the Bluetooth name of the device.
    • Set a pairing password for Bluetooth connection.
    • Adjust equalizer settings.
    • Control playback and volume.
  4. After making changes, click the "Set" button in the APP to apply them.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry and away from moisture.
  • Clean the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating.
