3. Setup
Unpack the Keyboard: Carefully remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging.
Connect the Keyboard: The K517 keyboard uses a detachable USB-A to USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the port on the keyboard and the USB-A end to an available USB port on your computer.

Adjust Keyboard Height (Optional): The keyboard features two-step adjustable feet on the underside. Flip out the feet to achieve your preferred typing angle.
Driver Installation: The keyboard is plug-and-play. Your operating system (Windows 7/8/10/11, Mac OS) should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. No additional software installation is required.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Usage
The K517 is a full-size 104-key mechanical keyboard. Simply connect it to your computer, and it will be ready for use. All standard typing functions operate as expected.
4.2 Multimedia Hotkeys
The keyboard includes dedicated multimedia hotkeys accessible via the Function (Fn) key in combination with the F1-F12 keys. Press and hold the Fn key, then press the corresponding F-key for the desired function:

4.3 N-Key Rollover
The K517 supports N-Key Rollover (NKRO), meaning all keys can be pressed simultaneously without any ghosting or missed inputs. This feature is automatically enabled and requires no special configuration.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and chassis.
- For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air.
- Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.
5.2 Removing Keycaps
The K517 comes with a keycap remover tool. To remove a keycap:
- Gently place the keycap remover tool over the keycap you wish to remove.
- Ensure the two hooks of the tool are securely under the keycap.
- Pull straight up with gentle, even pressure until the keycap detaches from the switch stem.
To reattach a keycap, align it with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

Caution: Be careful not to damage the switch stem when removing or reattaching keycaps.
6. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard is not responding:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a computer-specific issue.
- Restart your computer.
- Certain keys are not working:
- Carefully remove the keycap using the provided tool and check for any obstructions or debris around the switch. Clean if necessary.
- Ensure the keycap is properly seated on the switch stem.
- If the Windows key is not working, check if it has been locked using the Fn + Windows Key combination.
- Multimedia keys are not functioning:
- Ensure you are pressing the Fn key simultaneously with the desired F-key.
- Check your operating system's settings for any conflicting hotkey assignments.
