To enable 24-hour parking monitoring, a Buck Line (hardwire kit) is required. This allows the dash cam to draw power directly from the car battery even when the engine is off. If you purchased the option with a Buck Line, follow these instructions:
- Connect the Negative Wire (Black): Connect the black wire of the Buck Line to a metal part of the car chassis (ground).
- Connect the ACC Wire (Red): Connect the red wire of the Buck Line to a fuse in your car's fuse box that is only powered when the ignition is on (ACC). This allows the dash cam to detect when the car is running.
- Connect the BAT Wire (Yellow): Connect the yellow wire of the Buck Line to a fuse in your car's fuse box that has constant power, even when the ignition is off (BAT). This provides continuous power for parking monitoring.
Important: If you want to stop monitoring after parking, the DVR does not work. After parking, connect the positive pole of the buck line to the fuse box ACC interface.
