4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Important Installation Tips
- Installation requires some knowledge of electronic products. It is recommended to seek professional assistance for installation.
- Before permanent installation, test the unit to ensure it functions normally. Connect the red and yellow wires to the positive pole and the black wire to the negative pole of a 12V power supply.
- When installing, ensure correct wiring to avoid damage. Pay attention to positive and negative poles when connecting speaker wires.
- Always use the provided power cables. Do not attempt to use original car plugs directly with this unit.
4.2 Mounting the Device
The BQCC B5303R comes with two types of brackets for flexible installation:
- Suction Cup Bracket: Assemble the stand and attach the suction cup firmly to a clean, smooth surface like the windshield or dashboard. Adjust the angle as needed.
- Countertop Bracket: Use this bracket for a more stable, fixed installation on the dashboard.


4.3 Power Connection
Plug the car charging power cable into the cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle. Then, connect the other end to the BQCC B5303R unit. The device should power on automatically.
4.4 Optional Reversing Camera Connection
If you have an optional reversing camera, connect it to the dedicated 2.5MM reverse video input on the unit using the provided reversing video cable. The system will automatically switch to the reversing image when reverse gear is engaged.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
The unit features a 10.26-inch touchscreen display with a user-friendly interface. Navigate through functions by tapping the icons on the screen.

5.2 Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto
Connect your iPhone or Android phone wirelessly to access CarPlay or Android Auto features directly on the unit's display. This allows you to use navigation, make calls, send messages, and listen to music from your phone.


5.3 Mirrorlink (Wired Screen Projection)
The unit supports wired screen projection (Mirrorlink) for both Apple and Android phones. Connect your phone via a USB data cable to mirror its screen onto the player's display.

5.4 FM Radio Transmission
The unit can transmit audio to your car's original speakers via FM radio. Set the unit's FM frequency to match your car radio's frequency to output sound through your car's audio system.
5.5 Bluetooth Functionality
Connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth 5.0 to play music and make hands-free calls. The default Bluetooth name is 'SWL-BT'.
5.6 Media Playback (USB & TF Card)
The unit supports reading media files (audio, video, pictures) from USB drives and TF cards (up to 64GB). Insert your USB drive into the USB2.0 port or your TF card into the designated slot.

5.7 Built-in Driving Recorder

7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Car Radio Won't Turn On
- Check Voltage: Ensure the car radio is receiving DC 12V power.
- Wiring: Verify that the red and yellow wires are connected to the positive side of the power supply, and the black wire to the negative.
- Fuse: Check and replace any blown fuses of the same type.
- Power Cables: Confirm you are using the provided power cables. Do not use original car plugs directly.
7.2 Car Radio Shows Time After Turning Off
The time display is a built-in feature for convenience and cannot be removed. If you prefer no display when off, you must physically unplug the power supply.
7.3 No Sound When Playing Music
- Audio Cable: If not using the original audio cable, ensure your cable is compatible.
- Wiring Conflicts: Check for any short circuits or incorrect connections between speaker wires or between power and speaker wires.
- Speaker Test: Test with a single speaker connected to one audio cable at a time to isolate the issue.
7.4 Cannot Search FM Radio
- Antenna Connection: Ensure the radio antenna is properly inserted and making good contact. Try re-inserting it several times.
- Signal Strength: Move to an area with better FM signal reception and try again.
- Car Antenna: If your car's antenna is faulty, replace it and retest.
7.5 Cannot Connect Bluetooth
- Pairing Process: On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings, search for devices, and select 'SWL-BT'. If prompted for a pairing code, try '0000', '1234', or '123456'.
- Test with Another Phone: Try connecting with a different mobile phone to rule out phone-specific issues.
- Reset Unit: If problems persist, unplug the power cable from the back of the player, wait 3 minutes, and then plug it back in.
